First of all, I just want to say, it’s been a great pleasure watching Phil Jackson as a coach… His time with the Bulls… The first three-peat from 1991-1993 with Michael Scottie and Horace, the second three-peat from 1996-1998 with Michael, Scottie and Dennis… Then to the Lake show from 2000-2002 with Shaq and Kobe… then 2009 and 2010 with Kobe and Pau… ELEVEN championships all in all… how the hell can you top that??? He owns the highest winning percentage by any coach and has made the playoffs every year…

It’s a sour ending to say the least that he got blown out and swept by dallas but I gotta put Rick Carlisle’s comment into this… I don’t think the last game will taint the legacy that Phil has established in the game… He will forever be one of the best coaches of all time…

    >>> Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom are sore losers… Both of them deserve to get ejected… especially Bynum by the way he could’ve injure or worst, killed JJ… That was lame… Either you win like a champion or lose like a champion… I respect Kobe for remaining calm in those situations… Even he was unhappy with how Bynum decided to cheapshot Barea… Basketball is not about hurting someone intentionally…

What Bynum did was a classless move and a smear on a well-respected organization such as the Lakers. In my opinion, I’m glad he got ejected and I hope he suffers a BIG consequences. He has done numerous times and didn’t Bynum puncture Gerald Wallace’s lung? What he did to Barea could have been worse, possibly one of his rib bones puncturing another organ causing internal bleeding. I wouldn’t have done that to any player if I was in Bynum’s position. Look at their size difference too, just a tasteless move that shouldn’t be allowed in the league.

I’m just glad Barea was shaken up… It could have been worst… I don’t like it at all,.. CONSIDERING that this was the Zen’s last game… It was pretty bad… It should have been memorable but not like this…

Everyone needs to relax.  The foul by Bynum was terrible. He deserves to be suspended no doubt, but all these comments about internal bleeding and killing JJ are ridiculous. People fall like that everyday playing basketball on accident.  I agree it was terrible but just simmer down a bit.

Also back to topic, It’s sad to see Phil leave and I wish he could’ve had a better ending, but his legacy will last forever with those like Auerbach, Wooden, etc.

When Barea is in mid-flight, not holding his ground at all, and a 7’0 285 pounds centre lunges his elbow at a vulnerable part of your body, that’s serious. Not to mention Barea is only 6’0 175 pounds. How old is Bynum anyways? You’ve got to represent your team in a mature manner, not by doing some pu*** sh** on somebody smaller than you.

I understand it was stupid to do, I said he should be suspended. It wasn’t the hit that hurt JJ it was the fall from being off balance.  Guys go up and get cut all the time, it happens once a game. I was just saying ur acting like he was stabbed, he pushed a guy, not the best time to do it but thats what happened. JJ will be fine and Bynum will be suspended and should be under close watch by stern because this pattern isnt good for the league. And just to point out its basically impossible for him to do that to someone his size because that kind of hit wouldnt have budged most NBA centers his size.

I been calling it for at least 2 years…the Lakers lack of footspeed, youth, and athleticism would eventually catch up to them. Smh. It reared its ugly head against OKC last year and teams when they dealt with Rondo and the Celtics. I HATE that they didn’t pick up Javaris Crittenton…a nice, BIG athletic combo guard this summer or at least made a play for a Devin Harris. I love Fisher, but he is passed his time right now with the new generation of athletic PGs and fast pace in TODAY’S NBA. Should they blow up the roster? No! Come on, this a team that is still pretty darn competitive in this league (Hubie Brown voice). They just need a few tweaks. A knock down shooter and creater at the small forward position, a youthful PG with good speed and decent dribble penetration defense, and also a piece to the bench. HATS OFF TO THE GREATEST COACH that I witnessed do it….PHIL JACKSON!!!
