xJumpManxParticipantI would not count on that trade happening. Im from Cleveland Gilbert will not allow it.

FutureNBAGMParticipantIf anything, Milwaukee should trade down to get Exum. Drafting him at #2 would be just plain stupid imo.

chrispaulwallParticipantyeah I was debating putting him at 3 since it’s true, you figure they’d make Philly move up.

Memphis MadnessParticipantI would be happy with Kyle Anderson at 22. We can play YMCA halfcourt pick up ball with Slo Mo, Z Bo, and Marc.
We could approximate a poor man’s version of a Spurs lineup with Conley, Courtney Lee, Mike Miller, Kyle Anderson, and Marc Gasol.
If I am Miami I need cheep young guys to build around a Reloaded Heatles team. They should trade the 26th pick and the 57th pick to the Sixers for 32, 39, 52, and 54. Then Miami resigns their "big three" try to get another guy on board and then draft role players with those second round picks. Philly would then be picking at 3, 10, 26, 47, and 57. That’s enough picks for them.
If Shabazz Napier is not on the board, then they should trade down with Philly.

SwatLakeCityParticipantWow TJ Warren goes lottery. I can see why that happens because of the proposed Magic Cavs trade. But why not James Young instead of Warren?
I think the Magic are offering the trade to get Wiggins not Parker. I know Philly wants Wiggins badly but I don’t think they are going to get him. The Embiid injury shot them in the foot. Cavs now want either Wiggins or Parker. Could opt for the Magic trade and get Embiid at 4 while trading Wiggins to the Magic as part of the earlier mentioned trade. Bucks select either Parker or Wiggins (Whoever the Cavs don’t select.) Leaving Sixers to get either Exum, Embiid or Vonleh. Tough choice, but I think Hinkie decides on Exum in the end. Brett Brown will love that pick, and I don’t think Hinkie will pick another Center that’s injured for the entire year.
Do I think the trade will happen. No, it should, but the Cavs are just stupid enough that it won’t. Cavs want to make the playoffs next year. That is the mandate from Dan Gilbert. They need defense badly in order to get their. They could use Embiid but he’s probably out for the entire season so he really doesn’t fill up their hole at C. Cavs can’t that long for him to get healthy so I think the Cavs will be stupid enough to say no for that reason. Thus Embiid could very well fall to 6. Vonleh will probably go 4th with no Magic/Cavs deal leaving the Magic to select a PG at 12. (I’m thinking Payton) Cavs could still resign Spencer Hawes and have him start at Center. (And once again Cavs are stupid enough that they do the Magic deal that could get them Embiid. Although they should)
