Interesting movements. Finally agreeing with the consensus on Markelle Fultz number 1, Frank Ntilikina at 4, and Josh Jackson down to 5 are the most significant moves I guess.

Personally, I agree on the top 5 and have Ntilikina this high, Josh Jackson is higher though in my opinion, I don’t think any team should take Ball over him.

Ntilikina really impressed in FIBA U18 apparently, and not just me. I think his floor is so high (his floor being elite 3&D wing able to run the point at times) that he will stay top 5. His versatility as a prospect (able to play and guard 1-2-3 with his size, length and athleticism) is the difference maker that could make him jump over Ball, Smith by draft night.

Anunoby is a 4 at the next level. Or at least that’s the opinion. I personally agree but I know most people dream of him being the next Kawhi thus envision him  SF.

Vonleh because both are long and raw, perhaps? Both from Indiana also.

I was thinking more Stacy Augman, if anything.

Frank Ntilikina’s defence is talked about a lot and one of his new comparisons is now Gary Payton aka The Glove who was considered one of the greatest defensive PGs of all time. But Frank’s defensive rating on his profile is only 8 yet both Ball and Fox are a 9.

If 4 PGs went in the top 4 of this year’s draft it would be surprising but I’d got 3 of the 4 in my potential top 5 so it could happen,

Dallas could easily take a PG, Philly could take a scoring PG, Boston would likely take BPA and someone Thibs at Minny would love Ntilikina with his defensive potential.

I haven’t seen a lot of Frank N yet and he will be the mystery package at the top of the draft. Scouts will have got the best NCAA PGs in a strict order by then but someone like Frank he he has a good combine could go very high in the draft. He will be one of the youngest guys in the draft so his upside could be very high.

I still think that a big man will break into the top 10 strongly sometime between now and draft day. Harry Giles could improve his draft stock, Zach Collins could declare or maybe someone like Felipe Dos Anjos has great combine measurements.

Jonathan Isaac I see as a combo forward/stretch 4 so I wouldn’t class him as a bespoke frontcourter.

i think a better question is where does this draft compare to the last couple.  I am not a big fan for Boston since most of the best players are PGs, the one position we don’t need.

If Harry Giles begins to boom and show why he was once considered the top player of this class. He is a clear fit for Boston.

He should fall to Boston wherever the Brooklyn pick is even if he shows Anthony Davis potential because of injury concerns and depth of the class, similarily to Embiid fallling to the 76ers in 2014, except with even more guys who can be taken over him despite talent than just Wiggins-Jabari.

If he does not boom, Boston should trade the pick I guess. So far his rebounding is clearly promising. Still has to prove more, especially offensively: jumpers, passing ability, etc…to be a top 5 consideration in this draft.

Giles has a very long way to go. Right now he is playing like Hakim Warrick not Anthony Davis. He has a great flow to the game naturally, good touch, athletisism is great, and he is a smart player but he seems to be disinterested in blocking shots or taking charges. He is very skinny in his leg and arm strength and gets easily outmuscled for position. Its too early to label him soft but usually if a player is tough you know right away.

Once again Ive only watched him play two games and its been a long time since he has played so take this with a grain of salt but its my observation of him so far. The funny thing is if you watch a Duke game and cant see the numbers he looks alot like Amile Jefferson from the game camera. Evety time Jefferson made a nice play I was like ‘theres Harry Giles’ thinking he would break out. Nevet really happened.

Bam Adebayo looked impressive, I wouldn’t be surprised if he moved into the top 10.

I am not sold on Lonzo Ball as yet. Yes, decent handle and shoots good % but he doesn’t take the ball to hole and when he does he isn’t a great finisher or passes out. His unorthodox jump shot works ok in NCAA but might not be as good in the pros against bigger and better PG’s.

Harry Giles HS highlights were super impressive – prob one of the the best, if not the best talent wise in this class. Injury concerns are there so hard to know where he will go
