    a couple reasons why. is tim duncan is 33 and hes not getting any younger , manu is 31 and has been getting hurt for the last couple seasons. finley is on the downside, mcdyess is on his last legs as well.
    you have other teams on the rise such as the blazers, nuggets, the thunder will be better down the road,.
    so this might be their last season to win it all. if not you might see some changes. i do expect them to compete as long as they have duncan, pop and parker. but as for as contending for the title for the next few seasons. while thats out of the question.

    Maybe, Maybe Not.

    Manu is a FA in 2010. If they can replace him with someone (Joe Johnson) the window may open up some more.

    Yeah seriously, I cant see the Spurs folding anytime soon..

    Just when everyone says there declining, and are a bunch of old men..
    We begin to see promise in guys like Roger Mason, George Hill
    Not to mention they had a good draft..without any 1st round picks

    Spurs front office is on top of their game

    The Jefferson trade was huge also. He will help relieve Parker and Ducnan with his range and abiltity to score. He will solidify their starting lineup too.

    They had a good draft, picking up Blair, although Mcclinton has had a poor summer league.
    If they pick up a 2010 free agent, they shouldnt be quite out of it yet.
