Russell0WestbrookParticipantScott Brooks is pushing management to match the 5 year $25 million contract that the Knicks gave Fisher so he can come back and be a starter for the Thunder. Of course this is a joke but I could see Brooks really being down from Fisher leaving because I’m sure he would love to find an excuse to further hinder Lamb’s development.

druneave3ParticipantInstead of merely negging someone, I wish there was a way to vote off some posts from the home page just so we don’t have to look at them and have them taking up space for other threads that are enjoyable.

juves4783Participantchad ford reported phil jackson really wants to get into the draft and may offer iman shumpert to okc for a first rounder. here are some facts that may make this more believable…
during trade deadline, okc inquired about shumpert. fits the scheme of a defensive minded sg with limited offense.
phil jackson hosted pj hairston for a workout last week. doesn’t really make sense for a team with no draft picks.

Memphis MadnessParticipantWestbrook and Shumpert would be a GREAT backcourt — until their knees explode.

jerb2011ParticipantIdk why the Thunder want to trade for another guy that doesn’t move the ball around…that’s why I feel like Jeremy Lamb should get the startingnrole because he is an underrated passer. If they’re going to make a trade, at least trade for a paint scorer.

XYRYXParticipantExactly.
Why ad someone who has the same flaws as Thabo (and the same strenghts) if Lamb can give you offense on top?
I really hope OKC is going to let Lamb and Reggie play next year or they should really try to upgrade with a vet like Afflalo.

ScrubWebbParticipantIt’s not a good sign for guys like Jeremy Lamb and Perry Jones when old man Derek Fisher gets run before them. I wouldn’t point fingers at Scott Brooks. They haven’t seized the opportunity when it’s presented itself. I wouldn’t be surprised to see both of them out of the league in a few years.
