dtmfrParticipantBlake Griffin and a bunch of role players.
Other than Blake which player will ever make an all-star team?

dezzyarnezzParticipantThey were saying these shenanigans last year but they were wrong and this past year’s class was amazing and this class has potnetial to be as good it;s just there is no big men except for thabeet and griffin. But what nba teams really need is a point guard loke at d-rose, mayo, gordan, westbrook and augustine
all good combo guards those are new hybrids for the future nba
lets look at the combo guards
ricky rubio 6’4 g his goignt o be good hes only 18 comparing to steve nash and pistol pete this gut will get everyone involved could be high caliber point guard pass first – not a role player
Brandon Jennings – god given athleticism for a guard he can throw it down and dish the ball, hes to flashy and over confident but hes been playing pro-ball for a year and has the potential to be great and could be an all-star not a role player
and you got Both Harden and Curry who are considered comobo guards and naturabl born scorers Curry has the will and fight to make in the nba and has the iq and characterisitcs of a leader its genetics his dad well teach we he needs to know about the nba
and harden
leading the pac-10 scoring and westbrook didnt even do that and mayo did that to and now look at him second place roy avering 19 ppg
Harden is like a combo of paul pierce and rasheed swagger that will define him as a good player or notand the lets look at the late lottery combo guards who could turn out sleepers and have alot of potential due to their youth and skill.
Tyreke evans only a freshman lead his team to sweet 16 has the ability to shoot like ray allen and has the ball skills of a pg at 6’6 very selfish and bad attitude but an nba coach will fix that and eventually becoming an all-starand Jeff Teague again another combo guard and young again only a sophomore lead his team in scoring and has the athleitcism of jared bayless and derrick rose, but is more compared to jared bayless alot of potnetial and but few iq about the game but evenyually a coach and other players will make him a beast kinda like Ben gordan
And another honorable mentin young combo guard Jrue holiday was recruited high in high school and has a lot of potential but didnt really get enough playing time to try to jump to the nabe he needs one more year
but not just the comobo guards are very strong in this draft but fowards are more ahtletic wizards and hybrid power fowards small fowards
like earl clark, jordan hill, James johnson, and dajuan blair and these players are excelling in the nba look at paul milsap these might be undersized pf but have the speed of guards and sf and run hard to guard on defense..0 - Posted on: Sat, 05/02/2009 - 10:39am #148055

llperezNobody said last year’s class was weak. It was widely considered a strong class with a lot of depth. As far as this year, yes it is very weak. There are just far too many weaknesses in the players that are projected to go high in the draft. Griffin should be awesome, but after him it is a toss up.
I do like Jordan Hill. Great offensive player both facing and with his back to the basket. I would be shocked if Curry went in the top 15. He has no D, can’t create his own shot, is not quick enough to go by NBA defenders. He will be the next Eddie House or Daniel Gibson.

evan13ParticipantOk, this draft has depth, It just doesn’t have much star power. Jordan Hill is overated btu I agree about Curry being a House or Gibson except scoring a little more

Al-Farouq AminuParticipantLast year’s class might be the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time)

billykParticipantHerma227, you lost me and probaly your creditibility when you said “Tyreke evans only a freshman lead his team to sweet 16 has the ability to shoot like ray allen.” Ray Allen is one of the greatest shooter in NBA history, Reke wasnt even the best shooter on his own team.

TocaneParticipantIt would be funny if Griffin ends up being a bust and 5 or 6 player behind him become allstars.

D HampParticipantThis isn’t a WEAK draft, but it was a very down year in college basketball (there wasn’t a season long dominate team); this making this a Down draft. There are a few good players, but I don’t know about Franchise players.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantAny draft that followed a draft the was full of great players like Rose and many more is gonna look weak. So here is a question: How many drafts are like last years?
