Here are my 4 best teams as of right now (in no order) (I am not judging my own team):

BU Huskies, Turtles, Purplejesus, Birdmen… a couple other teams aren’t far behind

Honestly Truth…I think your team is in the middle of the pack right now…you’ve got a great defense, great starting rbs, your tight ends are average but tight ends really aren’t that important.  Your weakness really is a good 3rd WR.  Starting both Fitzgerald & Breston is risky.  Also your 2nd QB is kinda weak…I wouldn’t want to start Pennington or Cambell. Your RB depth is hurting too.  Overall though you will win a lot of games with AP & McNabb & Fitz & the Jets D scoring big points.

Based on order on the yahoo! home page.

    BU Huskies:

    • QBs: Based on last years stats, he has the best combination of QBs in the league. However, Warner didn’t look too solid in the preseason and his age has to play a factor sooner or later. Should still be effective. Favre is one of the best 3rd QB’s in the league.
    • RBs: Barber is a beast, and should easily get 10+ TDs. For most running backs, sharing carries means a dip in production, but keeping Barber fresh for the end of games when the opposing defense is tired will prove wonders. Thomas Jones shouldn’t even come close to matching last year’s numbers with the explosive Washington behind him and rookie Shonn Greene. Shouldn’t lose his goalline carries. Depth at running back is very solid. Bush always has the potential to be a solid RB, his punt return ability increases his value. Felix Jones is explosive and provides a nice bye week replacement, he also returns punts and should break one lose a couple of times this year. Willie Parker’s injury history is the only reason Mendenhall has any value.
    • WRs: Reggie Wayne is as consistent as they come. Gonzalez still has some work to do to become the breakout WR everyone thinks he will be, but with Manning as his QB he should get there. Santana Moss is a good 3rd WR, but he is past his prime. Harvin is a great bye week replacement, and could become the 3rd WR for the Huskies. If the Falcons air it out more than Jenkins will be a solid bye week replacement as well.
    • TEs: Everyone knows what Witten is capable of. Pettigrew was very solid in college and should be a solid #2 TE. Lions will likely be behind alot and will be forced to throw.
    • DEF: Solid defense. Will get plenty of sacks and fumble recoveries.

    R-Dot-13:

    • QBs: Eli is solid, but the Giants will be running most of the time this year. If Nicks continues to improve, along with Barden and Hixon, then Eli will certainly have more value. Orton needs Brandon Marshall back very badly. Even though his arm strength is questionable, his coach is a former member of the Patriots, so he could still post decent numbers. Quinn should be the starter for the Browns and if you can three starting QBs on your roster in this league then you are pretty much set.
    • RBs: DeAngelo Williams is very solid. Panthers love to run the ball and with Stewart dealing with an achilles tendon injury, Williams will get more carries than people expect. Should be another stellar year for him. Ryan Grant will post better numbers than last year. He has had a full offseason and has been healthy. He shouldn’t lose very many carries to his backups. Graham’s value has taken hits all offseason. Sproles should have a nice role as the backup to LT and will be a solid bye week replacement when the matchup is right.
    • WRs: Has 3 of the top 15 WRs in the NFL. Can’t beat that. Heyward-Bey isn’t even the best WR for the Raiders, but has big play capabilities.
    • TEs: Average at best. Scheffler should product what he normally does. Orton loved throwing to his TEs in Chicago. Shockey is in an explosive offense, but Brees spreads the ball way too much for him to be consider a top 10 TE anymore
    • DEF: Chargers are solid. They play in a division with some questionable QBs on the opposing teams. Merriman is back for the time being. Bengals are a tough defense at home, gave the Giants all they could ask for last year.

    Gatorheels:

    • QBs: Solid QBs as long as they stay healthy. Edwards is solid 3rd QB.
    • RBs: Jackson will be the offense for the Rams. Improved OL, and a better fullback could mean a return to his 2006 numbers or atleast an improvement on his numbers from the past two seasons. Kevin Smith is a breakout candidate. Maurice Morris won’t steal many carries, and Smith will most certainly be in on 3rd downs with his pass catching ability. Solid rookie RBs on his bench. All three could be the starters for their respective teams by the end of the year. Fred Jackson will be solid for the first 3 weeks of the season.
    • WRs: Andre Johnson is a beast. Houshmandzadeh is solid, OL in Seattle is a little shaky, but he will be a solid #2 WR. Berrian needs to get healthy and remain healthy all season, he relies on his speed to help him make big plays. Ted Ginn reportedly had a solid training camp and OTAs, but didn’t show it during the preseason. However, he is also a return man, so his value increases.
    • TEs: Randy McMichael has done nothing since joining the Rams. Reports indicated he would be more involved in the passing offense this year, we’ll see. JerMichael Finley has improved drastically since his rookie season. Can line up as a WR when the Packers go with the spread offense and should be one of Rodgers’ favorite targets in the redzone as the year progresses.
    • DEF: The Bears have seen better days, injuries have bothered them lately, but they look to rebound this year.

    Turtles:

    • QBs: Rodgers will be a fantasy beast this year if the preseason is any indication. Its rumored that Matt Ryan pays attention to detail as much as Peyton Manning. Any comparison to Peyton Manning can’t be bad.
    • RBs: Forte should have another solid year. Ray Rice will certainly get his rushing yards and receiving yards, but his TD numbers will still be low. As of right now, McGahee is slated to get the goalline carries. McFadden may end up being the #2 RB for Turtles. Ward was expected to be the man for Tampa Bay, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. Jamal Lewis is slowing down way too much, he’ll be lucky to be the starter before the Browns reach their bye week. Chiefs may rely on the run to start the year if Cassell is out, which helps Larry Johnson.
    • WRs: Definitely not the strongest group of WRs. Ochocinco continues to run his mouth, but he may actually back it up this year. Donnie Avery had a preseason injury, but considering he is the only WR option for the Rams he should have a good season. Torry Holt is no longer the player he once was. Hester and Hixon are solid players. Obviously, Hester’s return skills greatly increases his value.
    • TEs: Tony G is as solid as they come at TE. Should have another solid year. Donald Lee will probably be the #2 TE for the Packers, but will still have a solid game every now and then.
    • DEF: Jason Taylor is back, so the Dolphins should be a solid unit.

    New York Monsta:

    • QBs: Rivers is a top 5 QB. Delhomme was horrible in the playoffs last year. His good days are behind him, especially since he is in a run heavy offense. Leftwich has a strong arm and that is about it.
    • RBs: All the RB’s are decent. Addai should rebound from last year, but Donald Brown will take away plenty of touches. Stewart may not be 100% this season. White is still the goalline back for the Titans. Could have another big season. Lynch will be a great play when the matchup is right. The OL for the Bills is very questionable though. If Westbrook goes down, then McCoy will be a great option to have at RB.
    • WRs: The status of Brandon Marshall greatly hurts this position for the NY Monsta. Driver will try his best to have another 1,000 yard season, but he is at best a #3 WR. Coles’ career years are over. He is expected to be the slot WR and will be too inconsistent to rely on as a full-time starter at WR. Playing the matchups between Coles and Ward is crucial for the NY Monsta.
    • TEs: Keller should finish the season as a top 10 TE. He will be one of Sanchez’s top targets. Heath Miller will work at a #2 TE.
    • DEF: The Steelers defense is one of the best, if not the best. Really no need to have another DEF if you have the Steelers. Patriots are going through a youth phase and may struggle to open the gate.

    Crooked Vultures:

    • QBs: They seem too weak, but atleast he has 3 of them. Could play the matchups and make it work.
    • RBs: Running backs are solid. Gore should get more than enough carries to be a top 10 back. Pierre Thomas has some injury concerns to start the season, but if healthy could be productive as a runner and receiver. Willie Parker is reportedly going to be the main RB for the Steelers, but injuries have also been his downfall. The face he is playing in a contract year could be enough motivation. Coffee was impressive in the preseason and should serve well as a handcuff to Gore. James Davis could split with Lewis during the season.
    • WRs: WRs are solid, although each still has some question marks. Will the Saints spread the ball too much? Will Royal be double teamed more with the absence of Marshall? Will Boldin remain healthy for the entire year? Chris Henry and Josh Morgan add decent depth at the position
    • TEs: Tight ends are average. Nothing flashy. Will probably be too inconsistent throughout the season
    • DEF: Packers defense is making the switch from a 4-3 to a 3-4, so we will see how that works out.

Faced with an overloaded roster, the Houston Rockets recently waived forward/center Sean Williams despite trading for him in late July.
