Connecticut has announced the mid-season addition of Enosch Wolf, a 7’1 center from Germany, to the squad.
Wolf, from Goettingen, Germany, committed to the Huskies in July. He graduated high school in Germany, but had been taking classes and playing basketball this fall at Wilbraham & Monson Academy, a prep school in Wilbraham, Mass.
He enrolled at Connecticut for the upcoming semester.
UConn said Wolf is eligible to begin practice on Sunday and to play on Monday when the Huskies host Coppin State at the XL Center.
Coppin State – the Huskies’ foe on that night, whose tallest player playing at least 20 MPG stands at 6’8 — is not amused.
