 4 years ago I mentioned how good Damien Lillard was before he was known nationally this time it’s D.Wright

 

 

Other than going to watch my nephew play at Stanford I’ve been going to the Utah Utes game and their pg Wright is not only one of the better players in the conference but one of the best in the nation. He’s a smaller faster much better defending Kyle Anderson. He’s 6’5 with very long arms and a very high basketball IQ. His numbers are..16pts 7reb 5ast 3stls 1blk shooting 60% from the field.  Right now he’s not much of a shooter.  He can hit at he midrange pretty consistently but is a non threat from the three.

 

If he enters the draft he will be a second round pick but hopefully he comes back because he has a very good chance to be a late lotto pick, especially with Utah gaining two top 100 players and returning every main player including all 5 starters

I’ve mentioned him, I’m a believer. But he really needs to work on that jumper. His brother has made an nba living due to his smooth jumper, they need to hang out more often.

Yeah his jumper needs work but the good thing about that is jumpers can get better.  If he had a jumper this year though he would be a lock to be a first rounder.

I have gone to almost all the Utes games this year.  Delon Wright can do it all, i think he leads the pac 12 in fg%, top 10 in points, top 3 in blocks, steals and assists.  He better not do a foolish thing and declare, next years team should be ranked in top 25 most of next season. now only if Jordan Loveridge can learn to shoot a jump shot. his FG% is awfull
