Pierre JordanParticipantI just saw he was signed. This is my dude, I’ve worked out with him and got some good run in with him back in Atlanta. It’s crazy, dude can shoot way better than I thought. His jumper from college 3pt range is straight cash, lol. Seriously though, I wonder how much he has left in the tank. In a good system like SA, his abilities will be used to their full potential probably.

D HampParticipantHas been? He used to be a good shot-blocker.
Dhamp….the greatest mind in basketball. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

the microwaveParticipant2001 – made all star tm / then traded for DEKE to atlanta… Since then hes been injury riddled (i will say he made it thru the season w/philly last yr and at times was more impressive than dalembert)…… I think on that veteran tm he fits in well!

the microwaveParticipantdhamp – to show your lack of knowledge (which comes out frequently) – ratliffe averaged a block per gm in 12.6 minutes per…… I dont think thats anything to complain about.. Better than a has been.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantThis guy was nothing more then a defensive threat……and i doubt he has anything left , but what team he playing for. If he is going to be good , he is going to have to play for a slow paced team , and defensive minded ( SAN ANTONIO).

Bison 49ParticipantRatliff in SA might only play 6-8 min per game over the season, but in those minutes he does play, it will be hammer time. It will be 6-8 min per game where the opposing team just takes mid-long range jumpers. He will be a very disruptive bench guy, plus he will add even more sage wisdom to the Poppabench.

JoeWolf1Ratliff has always been a favorite of mine, blue collar undersized shot blocking post player, tons of experience and knowledge just adds to a revamped San Antonio team setting itself up for another deep run in the playoffs and possibly another title, great sign for the Spurs

L.ShapParticipantIf I were him I’d go to Portland to toughen up Lamarcus and Oden.
Whatd y’all think?0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/23/2009 - 12:19pm #188720

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantHe was a blazer before. We traded him for bostons draft pick that turned out to be Randy Foye and traded that pick to Minnesota for Roy. I don’t think he would want to come back here again.

llperezI can feel that comparison. Theo was solid, but you always expected him to really get it going and become an all star type player, and with injuries, he just never really did.

JNixonParticipantTheo Ratliff played the best man to man D in the playoffs against Dwight Howard from what I saw, except the time Dwight yammed on him to the point Theo’s neck snapped back.
