I see lots of teams that need to make a move and do something to change their franchise… Well, lets do it through a trade..

This trade is between the GS Warriors and the Detroit Pistons.. http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=4jkgjqk

If you dont want to follow the link, he are the players involved..

    Pistons get:
     A.Bedrins
    Monta Ellis
    Ekpe Udoh

    Warriors get:
    Rip Hamilton
    Greg Monroe
    J. Maxiell

     Pistons perspective:
Detroit is losing a few players this off-season.. Most of these players are older guys that were keeping them from doing a complete rebuild.. These guys are:
    T. Prince
    C. Wilcox
    T-Mac
    R. Stucky
    D. Summers
    J. Jerebko

Total money lost will be close to 18 million dollars.. Thats alot of money coming off the books.. After this trade, and before the draft and FA signing, they will be left with:
    B. Gordon
    C. Villenueva
    W. Bynum
    B. Wallace
    A. Daye
    T. White
    A. Bedrins
    M. Ellis
    E. Udoh

1 first round pick and 2 second round picks.. Who are projected to be D. Montiejunas, C. Parsons, and Austin Freeman. I would suggest that they resign, J. Jarebko and R. Stucky.. That would leave them with this possible rotaton and I like it more than this past years:
    PG: Stucky
    SG: Ellis
    SF: Daye
    PF: Udoh/Montiejunas
    C: Bedrins/Wallace
    B1: Villenueva
    B2: Gordon/Bynum
    B3: White/Parsons

That team looks like they could fight for a spot in the playoffs within 2 years… If they can develop young players, that team could be a scary team.. There is interior defense and potiental for some good offense there too.. They would have size but a weakness at the SF position.. On the outside, a combo of Stucky, Ellis, White, Bynum, and Freeman would be a nice combo of defense, size, experience, and youth.. This could be the type of thing to put Detriot back in the playoffs..

    Warriors Perspective:
The Warriors, unlike the Pistons, have some great pieces returning and are just a few players, and a mindset away from being a playoff team.. Here are the few players they are losing:
    V. Radmonivic
    R. Williams
    A. Law
    A. Thornton

Total money lost is actually close to 8 million because of V.Rad’s contract. That is plenty enough to sign their draft picks. After trade but before the draft, they will be left with:
    S. Curry
    D. Lee
    C. Bell
    D. Wright
    L. Amundson
    J. Lin
    J. Adrian
    G. Monroe
    J. Maxiell
    R. Hamilton

With 1 first round pick and 1 second round pick.. They are projected to be Brandon Knight and Keith Bensen. I would suggest that the Warriors would just save the money they have so that they could possibly sign someone if they end up needing help. That would leave them with a rotation of:
    PG: Curry
    SG: Hamilton
    SF: Wright
    PF: Lee
    C: Monroe
    B1: Knight
    B2: Maxiell/Amundson
    B3: Lin

Like the Pistons, the Warriors would be left weak at the SF position but in the NBA that is the position that has the most players floating around.. I think that this leaves them with a great combination of size, potiental, and experience.. Curry, Hamilton, and Wright woudnt be the best defensive backcourt but on offense, they would be on of the top in the league.. Monroe, IMO, is not a center but with the Warriors, he would be an excelent C with his passing ability and versatility.. Playing next to DLee would be great for him.. If they could get Knight in the draft, like projected, that would only make thier team deeper at the wing position.. I think that Benson is a sleeper too.. With Maxiell and Amundosn, they have great role players off the bench that know what they are good at and are willing to do it.. Sure they would be small under the rim but their rebounding would be fantastic. That is your weekly trade idea so be as harsh as possible..

    Thanks for reading!

This brings tears to my eyes!! Proper use of punctuation, grammer and not to mention, the perfect use of paragraphs! Now I can read this properly because it is MUCH easier to read.
