Da1potParticipantWow…. I think they should get rid of EVERYONE on their roster except for Blatche, Mcgee, Young, Foye, Boykins, Mcguire and possibly Mike Miller and Crittenton(despite the gun incident, he is very talented and cheap). Jamison needs to be traded now while he is still healthy and of as high value as he is. I can see him being traded to the Cavs with another player for Big Z, Hickson and a first rounder. Mike James has some interest by the Knicks an also a little by Cleveland, too. Arenas’ relationship with the franchise ha been forever scarred. Either his contract needs to be voided or he must be traded(though I doubt there will be any takers). I would trade Haywood, too because what are the chances of him even re-signing here anyway? I find it hard to believe that Portland would not be interested in him either. Hopefully, the Wizards could get one of their young small forwards. Butler has looked out of his element and out of shape the whole year, but apparently the Rockets are interested in him. Maybe some sort of T-mac deal might go on? Even though Miller has a huge contract, I am iffy about trading him, because when he plays well- the Wizards win. He has been very important to when the Wizards win games this year. Stevenson and Oberto are both just absolute garbage…. They are roleless role players as far as I’m concerned. What do you guys think? Wh o should be moved?

the I in winParticipantThe only reason the Cavs haven’t jumped on a trade for Jamison is that they don’t want to give up JJ Hickson. We could probably get Troy Murphy for about the same price and he would fit better with us.

esperanzafleet69Participanttroy murphy is indeed prolly the better bet…

the I in winParticipantIF he left yes they would be very bad but this isn’t about the cavs. its about the wizards moving forward.
If they packaged a young guy with jamison then the cavs would give up JJ. Nick Young please.

dmo21Participantokay… so i put all your trade ideas into one mega trade that will never happen but it was fun to do and i was bored…
so here it is:
WAS trades- Jamison, James, Butler

CLE goes for a championship push(best short term advantage of trade)
NY gets their coveted expiring contracts, and they stop trying for playoffs and start playing young guys like douglass and hill
HOU gets rid of T-Mac and gets some big bodies and good wing players..Lineups:
WAS-

MDOTFREEParticipantyou put waaaay too much thought into that. lol. but it WAS nice work and is somewhat doable. but yes much of that wouldn’t happen becuz teams wouldn’t wanna give up some of those guys involved. and if the cavs were gonna give up 1 of their combo guards it’s prolly be west instead of gibson.

llperezdmo, i was going down your list and i was like washington would like it, cleavland would like it and ny would like it. SO far so good, but then i got to houston, and they get raped big time on this one. Landry is arguably the 6th man of the year. Battier is a very solid piece. Plus they have a ton of cap space to add a superstar this summer. This trade would mean getting rid of all their cap spcae and probably taking a step backwards in talent as well considering butler is underachieveing and i would take battier and landry over him. I think 3 teams win, but no way houston makes this deal.
