 I see that yahoo’s new startup basketball media entry has decided to go the route of bashing Ben Simmons to stand out. I think it’s close between the two and I think it’s fair to think Ingram is better. They completly dismiss Simmon’s potential and amazing skills as if it’s nothing special. But coming out and attacking Simmon’s charachter like they know stuff is boarderline libel. They’re clearly pushing the agenda of Simmons is overrated and is bad kid and it’s just sad.

 It’s a shame that they have drug draftexpress into the mix as well.  A once reputable site is now perpetuating Woj propoganda.

 I’m disappointed in the drop in quality of their videos on prospects now.  Their videos are shorter and don’t break down the plays as much anymore.  I went back to look at a breakdown from last year and it was so much better than now. You’d think joining The Vertical and Yahoo would help increase the quality.

Agreed. Having a 38"+ vertical doesn’t automatically mean you’re gonna be a star in this league. Simmons is a special player.

I’ve been very critical on Simmons this year although I still believe he is the best prospect. Although as I proposed earlier in the year he is not the clear cut number 1 and Ingram could still take that position which wouldn’t be crazy but still would spark debates and have criticism.

At the end of the day if Simmons goes 1st nobody will doubt the selection other than somebody with an agenda against Simmons.

If Ingram’s goes 1st it will be a bit controversial but not shocking.

Woj is one of the bigger jokes in basketball journalism now. He’s got plenty of connections, no doubt about that. But his biggest issue is that he has vendetta’s against certain players/agents/handlers based on who they sign/sign with, what schools they attend and who they choose for their endorsements.
