Mr. JewboyParticipantEvery NBA player’s goal is to win the championship, and this season there are a handful of players who haven’t won, and have already made enough money to last for the rest of their lives and then some. So my question is, why don’t they all take a pay cut, and come play together and win the ‘ship.
This is a very real scenario, although it will never happen:
Chicago:
PG-Derrick Rose 5.5Million
Sg- Dwyane Wade 10Million
Sf-Lebron James 10Million
PF-Chris Bosh(trade Luol Deng and taj gibson maybe)10 Million
C-Joakim Noah-3.5 MillionBench:
Hinrich-9million
James Johnson-1 Million
the player they draft-1 million
maybe sign free agents like t-mac, j-oneal, matt barnes, brad miller, channing frye, anthony morrow for the veteran minimum-seeing that’s what they deserve or what they are aiming for more or lessthis team would be unbeatable, so why not give up a bit in order to achieve the ultimate goal?

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantIf Chicago is able to put that team together do you think the NBA should cancel the entire season since you said it was unbeatable?

Mr. JewboyParticipantI didn’t mean unbeatable as in there is no way in the world they can lose. as a matter of fact, 99% sure that they will lose at least 5 games during the season(probably more though). i just meant that that way they could be the clear favorites, which is what they say is the most important thing for them.
