Paul Pierce just made a valid point about it being LeBron’s team and he wants it that way, which leads me to ask, when was the last time he actually came off a ball screen or moved along the baseline without the ball to keep the offense flowing?

LeBron is detrimental to LeBron with help or no help.

While I do agree Lebron should do more of that, Paul pierce takes shots at lebron every chance he gets since becoming an analyst, it’s ridiculous at times

Paul Pierce towards Lebron is probably the most bitter any retired athlete has ever been towards anything

LeBron played soft. I don’t care what the numbers say. He played soft in game seven. Settling for midrange jumpshot all game long wasn’t until he was off the court in the third the Cavs made the push back on top and got the momentum.

And that Stephenson tech was absolutely ludicrous. Embarrassing to the game. Then LBJ sets on the floor grabbing at his head like he had something bad happen to him. SMDH!

Dont know how you could complain about his shot selection when he went 16-25 and I people seriously underestimate how much energy it takes to consistently attack the basket especially when your playing 40+ minutes a night

You know someone is great when putting up 45, 9, and 7 on 16/25 shooting isn’t good enough

Paul Pierce is Skip Bayless 2.0 when it comes to Bron. It’s terrible.

Let me get this straight… LeBron James is to Paul Pierce as what Michael Jordan is to Isiah Thomas.

Lebron actually did do some good off ball work in this series. The play where he set the screen for Korver and then rolled to the basket for the lay up was a crucial play in the series. He also made some really critical defensive stops including the block on Oladipo in game 5 (even though it was a goal tend).

Would you ideally like him to do more of that sort of stuff? Absolutely. But he has do so much with the ball in his hands for this team to have any chance of winning. There’s really only so much one man can do, even if it is lebron.

Exactly. I know he’d get killed for it (although he gets called for everything), but I wouldn’t mind seeing him play with another top guy again just so he can focus more on defense instead of carrying the whole offense every game. I think we’d see a whole new Lebron
