Rafeal went way too high, Villa went way too high, Bargni went way too high…uhoh boys and girls.

In the past 5 drafts these have been the Raptors selections. Whats the pattern? They always seem to take the home run swing on unproven big men when they do not have a decisive decision. Drafting Derozan with Parker and Kapono leaving Toronto was obvious. Drafting Bosh over Wade while having Carter was another obvious decision. This year there are argueably more than 5 players that could be selected at 13 and it would not be a surprise…

If the Raptors have learned there lesson they will choose the BPA instead of reaching like they did with Aroujo,Charlie V. and Bargnani (which would mean drafting Henry, George, Patterson or Bradley). Although I see them drafting Soloman Alabi and falling for all the smokescreens sent by Portland, Boston and San Antonio who seem to be raising Alabi’s stock to just outside of the lottery.

We all know about the bond Alabi has with Raps Assistanty GM who is from his hometown in Nigeria and basically created Alabi`s basketball career by funding a camp in Africa.Seems like a perfectly horrible fit…WTF!ALABI?NOOOO!
