rileymcshea3ParticipantOK people like to predict the players that will be bust. Well the people they predict as bust should be in the loto and most people are to scared to say about 5 names that will be picked in the top 14(lottery).Well i did my research on past drafts (2002-2007) and in those drafts i counted and on average about 6 to 8 players turn out not being starters in todays game.SO my question to y’all is what 6 to 8 players in this years top 14 picks (lottery picks ) wont turn out to be starters in about 5 years?
P.S dont be afraid to throw out names such as Brandon Knight or Enes Kanter because we do know that even top 5 picks turn out to be bad.

Thats what players i was and im glad you didnt put Kawhi Leonard in there even though most people are thinking Kawhi isnt worthy of a high pick in the draft but his defense will keep him a starter 5 years from now.

B-ball fanParticipantYeah, I think he won’t be a star, but I think he definitely will be a solid starter due to his defense, rebounding and off the ball movement. Plus, he is known for a strong work ethic, which is sometimes overlooked but shouldn’t be.

rileymcshea3Participantyes definitely strong ethic is very important . They wont get any better unless they work hard.

Real Talk Real TrophiesParticipantI say that the most likely busts from draft.net lottery are
1. Kawhi leonard
2. Alec Burks
3. Donatas Motiejunas
4. Marcus MorrisAlso depending on what team a certain player is drafted to can def make a huge difference on potential. I have not seen a lot of vesely either so could add him to list and don’t think kyrie will live up to hype so could add him as well

PulseGlazerParticipantI think so much depends on team, it’s tough to say. I firmly believe Darko in a better system early for his skills would have been a star (unpopular sentiment, I know). I can easily see half the draft being busts or very good players depending on their spot taken and think that risk is a large part of the reason this is a weak draft. Look at the teams that seem to draft without a plan – whoever ends up on those teams would be my picks for busts with the exception of T-Wolves if they get a new coach. I pity Derrick if he plays for Rambis.
