Is too many young talented players is a problem? OKC Once had Durant, harden,Westbrook and serge. Traded harden, signed serge then traded him, Durant walks and all they have left is Westbrook. If they signed Harden and traded Serge we wouldn’t be talking about the super team in GS we would be talking about the team in OKC. Management did what they thought was best and missed hard. 

Philly looks like it’s in a similar Spot. im not saying they will mess it up like OKC but they look like they are headed in the same direction.  Embiid, Simmons, Saric and Fultz. Embiid is the Westbrook of the group he’s loyal and talented.

 Simmons really reminds me of KD he says all the right things plays hard for his required contract then bolts because he sees something better. Before you rip all over that remember no one thought kd would leave

 Saric and Fultz is your harden IBaka situation all over again. You can’t keep both only one. Your going to have 60 million tied into Simmons and Embiid. They have so much invested in Fultz trading the Kings pick and passing up Tatum to get him you can’t give up on him.

 That leaves Saric as your harden. Both was always the third option and you can see they could do so much more with a bigger role. I’m not saying Saric will be harden but I think he could put up all star stats given the right situation.

 Yes, they can’t keep them all. Embiid, Simmons, Fultz, Saric. One, if not two of them will be in a different uniform in the next 3-5 yrs.

I’m saying this because the same literally the SAME thing can be said about the Celtics in fact it’s worse because you guys are already committed to big contracts with established superstars.  Thats a good problem to have. There are teams who wish they could have at least one player that’s of the same caliber as Westbrook, Harden and Durant. The hard part is actually getting a player of that caliber thru the draft. Yeah it might take some time for those guys to learn to play together but that’s an issue that’s much easier to deal with.

 The issue with the Thunder was the owner refused to pay the luxury tax. I believe they dealt Harden because he wanted about 6 million  more on his deal total. If the Thunder were willing to pay that, Harden would’ve stayed with the Thunder along with KD, Russ, and Ibaka. The 76ers could find themselves in the same spot and if they’re willing to pay the price they could keep their team together because they’ll have all of their young players Bird rights.

Depends on fit around Main 3 players

Depends on will they sacrafice $ to make it work?

Can the coach use them to the best of their ability?Brooks didn’t personally use them right and this may have also not helped us.

As for the 76ers their biggest issues is sort of this when coming to who to extend and move on with.:

What will Futlz and Saric become? Who has the higher ceiling and will they reach it?

and

Who will be the better fit with Embiid and Simmons?

This will dictate who is most likely kept and the team move forward with. 

Because for all we know: Saric could turn into their P.G and Futlz may struggle to stay in the league to make it to his next deal or Futlz could turn into their Bradley beal and Saric could turn into their Chandler Parsons(pre injury that is) making it hard call.

 The Celtics are not in the same position at all. We already have all star vet talent. On top of that we have the Kings pick so we can win and still add a lottery pick. Al Horford is opting out next year and resigning at a discount or getting a big deal somewhere. If we lose Kyrie they sign Rozier. Marcus Smart is young and resigned 4 years. Embiid already hit a max you’ve got him 4 years then he’s free I don’t that’s no he will move but he’s free. The Celtics have 7 to 8 years of Tatum brown and the Kings pick. I honestly think next year is their best chance at a title even with GS being GS.

 If the Thunder had gone into luxury tax – surely that team would have won a title or titles but how long would they have had to wait. The Miami big 3 were far superior when Thunder big 3 was broken up so you are possibly talking 2013 or perhaps more likely 2014 then you go into GSW bandwagon.

However, I disagree w/ your conclusion that OKC was "Forced" to trade One of the 4 man core. OKC did not want to pay for the Luxury Tax & they had a good point b/c they’re in such a small market 

That OKC team one can argue makes the 2015 playoffs if they do Not trade Harden b/c they have the fire power to survive Durant’s broken foot. Remember the Thunder & Pelicans tied for the #8 seed in 2015 but won on a Tie Breaker 

Durant had recovered & was healthy for the playoffs & OKC would have played the #1 seed Golden State Warriors – but back then No one knew how good the Warriors would become  & w/ Harden one could make a Very strong argument that Harden Westbrook & Durant Beat a Very young Golden State team in 2015 & w/ Cleveland’s injuries that playoff spring the Thunder are prob the First #8 seed to win the NBA Title 

One year later in 2016 the OKC Thunder looked like the Stronger team in the Western Conference Finals jumping out to a 3-1 series lead — OKC choked Badly in relinquishing that lead – it is Logical to conclude that WITH James Harden the Thunder wip out the Warrirors & b/c Golden State struggled so much with OUT harden it is Evidence that OKC prob beats Golden State in Both 2015 & 2016! 

There is No way KD is Leavung a back to back Champion OKC team in 2017 & if OKC ownership does Not screw up to save LKuxury tax & they instead kept Hard we might be looking at a 4 time Champion OKC team that is worth North of $3 Billion! But instead it is Golden State who’s Value Exploded b/c of their 3 Titles! 

Phila’s Owner says he has Learned from OKC’s mistake & when Phila chased Lebron Harris personally stated that Phila will sign All their Stars to Max deal AND chase Max Free Agents & he intends to spend Any amount over the Luxury tax to win NBA Titles & the subsequent Value increase will take care of Any Luxury Tax issues – just w/ Phila winning 52 games & making the 2nd Round this summer the Sixers share of the NBA Global merchandise sales Exploded & their value is increasing exponentially 

We’ll have to wait & see where Phila goes from here & I’s argue that the Celtics are on the same track but a few years Ahead of the Sixers – but Both teams are Loaded & the coming years in the East will be pretty Awesome!
