I think Taj Gibson would be the perfect compliment for DeMarcus Cousins, as the Kings been looking for years for the best power forward to pair next to Boogie…Gibson’s mid range shot would help space the floor, & his length & athleticism would alter shots at rim…In a starter’s role I truly believe Taj Gibson could play like Kenyon Martin in his prime, as an All-Star for the then New Jersey Nets…To make the Bull’s part ways with Taj I think the Kings would have to give up Carl Landry & Nik Stauskas for the former USC Trojan

They’d have to give up a lot more than that. Sacramento has nothing the bulls would want though, except for maybe a 1st round pick. Chicago has put so much development into Gibson they wouldn’t want to part with him for Sacramento’s spare parts.

Well he comes off the bench for Pau, & makes more money than Pau that’s a problem…Carl Landry is a solid role player in his own right & Nik Stauskas is a lottery pick with untapped potential, so how are they spare parts? Stauskas likes like how Marco Belinelli did on the Bulls a few years ago, as a creator & shooter

Too early to tell how Stauskas will be. Landry is OK but not half the player Gibson is. You’re right, as a starter Gibson should be very effective, which means he’s worth a lot more than a past his prime, undersized Landry and an unproven Stauskas.

I look for them to sign Josh Smith in free agency. I’m not sure any other team could guarantee a starting spot. Plus they could give him 7 or 8 million per.

For a cheaper option how about LaVoy Allen?

He is a great offensive rebounder and coming out of Indiana has a good ability on the defensive end of the court. Hustle player and when he gets minutes he produces in a variety of ways.

Is a free agent at ththe end of the season or maybe if Stauskas is sitting then a swap with a future 2nd rounder going over to Sac-Town as well.

The 2003 version of Kevin Garnett would be a perfect compliment for boogie.

I think they could have drafted the perfect compliment in the long haul in Vonleh but instead went with Stauskas.

The perfect running mate for Cousins at the PF position is a shot blocker with a solid 12-15 ft jumper. Ideally A.D. would be the perfect one, but that will never happen. Serge Ibaka would work. Also not going to happen. I’m thinking a WCS, in the draft, type player. Offensively not so strong, but they do not need a ton of offense from the PF position. WCS can guard probably 2-5 in the pros, solid 8-10 ft jumper (not ideal), but can jump out of the gym and is a great shot blocker.

You think WCS can gaurd NBA 2-3’s? Like Ellis, Harden, Thompson, Wroten, Tobias Harris, Wade, Deng??? Talk about severely overrating a player…
