Hoops MaestroParticipantGood solid cheap backup center for Lopez. New Jersey is building a “blueprint for greatness”…. Miami is really going to have to scramble to build a team, as some of the good cheap talent is getting plucked early.

McWinningParticipantIf nothing else this sets up Zoubeks girlfriends as a prostitute in their meetings to lure Lebron.
We all know how Prokhorov operates.

Counting StarsParticipantHe’s a seven-footer who can rebound. That’s gotten a lot of guys who didn’t win a national championship into the league. Why not Zoubek?
Plus, I’m pretty sure Brian Zoubek is the reason Waldo is hiding.

doubledribblerParticipantNice piece. A guy that is not going to play a lot of minutes but he’s going to come in and play hard and smart. He’s going to play some d and rebound. Could be a lot worse than that. Orlando is paying a guy the full midlevel exception just to play 8-10 minutes a game. When you have a guy that is a superstar/all star that eats up a ton of minutes, you don’t always have to have a really good player behind them, just an adequate one unless the guy rotates in for more than one person like Lamar Odom.
NJ has done a nice job of getting pieces without wrecking their future like the Knicks. Hopefully they get someone that fits with them. I’m thinking if they can’t get Lebron that maybe they go hard after Anthony next year. The pieces should fit well around him and I’m sure he would love to go to Brooklyn when they move.
