TallmanNYCParticipantPreseason starts today. Frankly the lineup is a pretty good one kicking off with Chicago vs Indiana. I’m hoping that I can watch it on NBA TV. Derrick Rose is expected to play and it will be interesting to see how far he has come getting back to his old self.
Also we have everyone’s most exciting young team, the Rockets taking the court. Will they go twin tower with Asik? Will D. Howard just make their offense elite while also improving their defense?
Yes, it is just preseason. But I’m excited.

Wavy BagelsParticipantI’m also excited.
I don’t think the Rockets go twin tower with Dwight and Omer. Imagine all those missed free throws? I think they should start D-Mo at the 4. He’s long and stretches the floor and gives Dwight room to do his thing.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI’m stoked! The Rockets were a loaded team offensively last season (2nd in points per game) but we were one of the worst defensive teams in the L. (28th in opponents points per game)
But now that we’ve added a three-time DPOY in Howard, Ronnie Brewer, and Pat-Bev getting more playing time, I think we’ll be a very tough defensive team. Asik will be the starter for a while then eventually Greg Smith will fill the void at the 4. I don’t think TJones or D-Mo are ready to be full time 32 minute starters yet, hopefully next year.
I think the Rockets are a piece or two away from being elite and championship contenders. I think we need to bring Lin off the bench at the 1 and/or 2, trade Asik for a stretch 4 or a quality spark-plug offensively off the bench either on the wing or inside, and sign a veteran or two.
I also can’t wait to watch the Nets and see how they do, as well as Rose’s comeback, Oden and Beasley getting another chance, Roy Hibbert’s improvements, the Hornets odd rotation, the Warriors as an up and coming team, ugh… there are way too many story lines! I can’t wait!

44ears81I’m excited to see if the Suns can make their highly anticipated playoff push. With the Bledsoe and Len combo, I expect them to be unstoppable. Trade Gortat mid season for Beasley and you have a championship contender

NCarmean18ParticipantWhat? Lmao. They just released Beasley because he was ass. How do you think a lineup of Bledsoe – Dragic – Beasley – Markieff Morris – Alex Len contends for an NBA Championship? Laughable.

44ears81I forgot to mention how theyll trade dragic for Xavier Henry on the lakers and he’ll be both MIP and MVP with 29 PPG, 7.4 Reb, 1.1 Assists, 33% FG. I think this team will be off the charts good, possibly beating the bulls records and win 77 games (they’ll probably forfeit 5 games give or take)
