jjonzParticipantHow good is he? As a fresman won a championship. He is the Best Scoring Wing in the NBA. Every offensive Arsenal is @ his disposal. Post game, drives jab steps,3 ball, catch & shoot,One dribble pull ups. In that 7 seconds or less offense i don’t know how he would fare, but Melo teamed with STAT would be like what could have happened in 1985 with Benard King & PE. They may not be a Lock in for a title this year or next but the right pieces could have them Ready to contend soon. Felton only has a 2 year deal, so if an Elite PG (CP) comes availble they could come to NY if they spend wisely. The Melo/Bron rivaly would be intense as both players battle it out for a chance to go to the Finals. A Commish dream come true, NY area vibrant, with a Serious Chicago team fighting for a Championship again. I just hope they NY don’t have to give up all of their assests to get him from Denver.

The Lakers and Carmelo Anthony? Wouldn’t count on it.
An ESPN report that the Lakers were in preliminary talks with Denver for the Nuggets’ unhappy all-star forward was quickly rebuffed by the Lakers.
"What’s out there is inaccurate," said a Lakers representative familiar with the negotiations.
The report said the deal would revolve around Andrew Bynum for Anthony, though a team source told The Times on Tuesday that the Lakers were unwilling to deal Bynum, the 23-year-old center who has been plagued by knee problems.
Bynum is considered the personal project of Lakers executive Jim Buss, the son of team owner Jerry Buss.0 - Posted on: Tue, 02/08/2011 - 3:28pm #485885

K.LOVE THE ALLSTARThe more i look at it the more I’m not sure if i make the trade.
As far as The Laker rep saying its in accurate i expect that. That’s what the teams say because if the deal doesn’t go through Bynum might be pretty upset and that can effect his play. Rule number one of what Jerry West said a long time ago "You always deny until the trade happen just in case it doesn’t happen when it involves a important piece of you’re team"
