This LeBron hate is out of the world. You don’t have to like him or be a fan of him at all. But to blame the Finals loss on him is stupid. How is it his fault that the only 2 other all-stars on the team were injured and were out for the rest of the playoffs. The team was absolutely overmatched. It’s an accomplishment that he was even able to will them to 2 wins in this series without much help offensively. He averaged damn near a triple double in this Finals series. And don’t give me any crap about his FG% when he’s the only guy on that team who is even worth a crap offensively. He had to take a high volume of shots to even give them a chance. Even if the shots were good or bad.

I’ve never seen a Superstar player scrutinized at the level he has been. (I’m 22 so maybe there have been others.) He’s damned if he does and damned if he don’t. I think much of this is due to the fact that people just don’t want to accept that this guy is possibly greater than some of the all time greats that are also extremely beloved players as well. I’m not gonna debate whether or not he’s better than certain players but, he’s definitely top 15 whether you want to believe it or not.

You don’t have to like him or be a fan of him like I said before and I will agree that some of his criticisms are legit. But you have to acknowledge that we are witnessing a phenomenal player. People are quiet when he’s had success but come out the woodwork to talk shit when he’s failed. That’s the definition of a hater.

P.S.: This isn’t even coming from a LeBron or Cleveland fan. It’s just that the amount of hate he receives is really making me root for him to get a championship for Cleveland so people can shut up. (Even then haters still won’t give him any credit.)

Also congrats to the Warriors and their fans.

The Finals loss isn’t Lebron’s fault as you said. Few teams could win the championship with their second and third best players injured.

With that being said Lebron’s arrogance brings the hate on himself. He was always a bit arrogant, but the decision turned indifference and mild dislike of him into full blown hate for a lot of people. Him saying in the Heat pep rally that they’d be winning not one, not two, not three, etc championships deepened it. His whining nature on the court doesn’t help things either. I don’t think Lebron realizes how often he gets calls he doesn’t deserve if he did perhaps he wouldn’t whine whenever he didn’t get his way. The icing on the cake has to be him saying he’s the best player in the world. Regardless of it being true it doesn’t make people like him.

Lebron is an incredible basketball player, but he’s just not that likable to me and many others.

I’m assuming you liked him when he got you 2 championships in Miami. Or are you just a huge fan of Alonzo Mourning?

Huge Alonzo Mourning fan. It was so weird for me having him on Miami because I dislike him as a person. I’ve never before experienced having the best player on my favorite team being a guy I don’t like, the whole time was odd and I honestly can’t say I was mad when he left. I’d rather the Heat win without him. I remember enjoying the Heat title in 2006 so much and being a bit indifferent with the two titles with Lebron. I know it sounds odd but it was hard to enjoy the Heat with Lebron.

The hate extends to the Finals MVP.

LBJ was CLEARLY the MVP.  He averaged 36/12/8.  I don’t care how inefficient he shot, he was the BE ALL AND END ALL of Cleveland.

Iguodala, praised for defending LBJ, while doing a great job, still let LBJ reach those ridiculous numbers.

I agree that Iggy was the Warriors MVP, but we need to remove the victory bias for this award.

they lost.  he got tired bc iguodala slowed him down.  all those times you initiate contact with Iggy in the paint, takes something out of you.

Dude he’s not a great player when he gets tired.  Yeah he had to carry the load, but his shot is just terrible and sorry to say it, but I can’t see Jordan visibly give up the way Lebron has.

I remember him laughing and looking at the reporter like an idiot when the Spurs just trashed his team last year and asked "what can you do".  Lebron knows that his kryptonite is SKILL and System ball.

Championships are HARD to win.  You must rely on something other than Grunt.  Smooth shooting and ball movement is a way to get easy buckets, not trucking in the paint.

His shot isn’t good enough to uplift his team with easy buckets.

Perhaps they need to remove the victory bias, but that’s always the case. Lebron is a better player than Steph Curry, but Curry won the regular season MVP thanks to his team winning more. The award is oddly labeled because if it’s simply most valuable then as you said winning should be irrelevant.

Is how the media d! (K rides the guy 24/7. Its never ending like he has a Bill Russell track record. 2-4 in finals. Undeniable great player but yes, he is rode too much about his greatness, legacy,GOAT talk. Finally we can put that to rest. Great stats guy.

How is it dick riding when he’s a phenomenal player. Please tell me what do they say about his game in the media that isn’t true. He is one of the all time greats and the best player of his generation.

It does not matter if it’s true or false because they be talking about LeBron and not the champions in the Golden State. That’s why people say the media dick ride the LeBron James because he did not win and he’s the main topic of discussion if he lose.

Most people hate him because of that, the fact that he left 2 teams because it got rough, orchestrated his way to form 2 two super teams, the fact that he cry about the slightest of contact even though he gets most of the calls, his fans claiming he’s the GOAT, and he self proclaimed himself as the KING and The Choosen One.

I don’t hate him, but that’s why every hates him.

GOAT no. Yes they talk about him more than they use to speak on Jordan. Lebron all the time non stop. Great player but 2-4 finals is elf explanatory. Not his fault this year completely but he was also locked down in big moments. Lots of great players would not allow that. Great player. Spoke of like a God. He is not. Thats not hate, facts.

Tim Duncan or Lebron James. Certain i can get more rings from having Duncan. Feel free to dispute that.

I do think that if you put LeBron on those teams he would have won those championships also. Put Tim Duncan on the 07′ Cavs or this year’s Cavs finals team and I doubt he would have won. But then again we’ll never know. Also Tim Duncan’s teams have always been more balanced and better. Dispute that please.

The second title team that Duncan was on wasn’t very balanced at all.  Duncan averaged 24/17/5/5 blocks in the Finals while his next best teammate averaged 14/3/4 on 38% shooting.

That Mavs team wasn’t just 2 productive players. I don’t think they win if they don’t have Kidd, Chandler and Marion’s defense.
