llperezthis takes me back to game 7 of the 2000 western confrence finals. 10 minutes left in the 4th, Portland is up by 15 points. I was so mad and was ready to get up and go to the gym and hit the weights to take out my frustration. But then the Lakers get hot. They stopped trying to force the ball into Shaq and they just let the threes fire. Shaw starts nailing 3’s, even banking one in. The Lakers come back and win. Good memories.

IndianaBasketballParticipantBynum vs Oden/Pryzbilla
Gasol/Odom/Powell vs Aldridge/Outlaw/Howard
Artest vs Batum
Kobe/Brown/Vujacic vs Roy/Fernandez/Webster
Fisher/Farmar vs Miller/BlakeThat’s a good matchup lol… The Blazers have more than just a chance to win that game lol. It’s arguable the Blazers are the deeper team.

llperezif It was a physical actual fight, I’ve got my money on DJ Mbenga over Oden or Przybilla. If it was an all out 15 on 15 brawl, now that would be interesting. Gasol and Odom wuold both get laid out in a second. But Artest and Fisher would be roughing dudes up. I also think Vujacic might be a sneaky fighter and get dirty. He would probably look like Jeff van gundy wrapped around Zo’s legs biting on someone’s ankles.

McWinningParticipantthey are the deeper team you left Bayless off that list,

llperezMbenga is a judo black belt. Judo, for those that don’t know, is an aggresive style of fighting where you clinch your opponent and sweep the legs and throw them on their head. DJ could compete at the national level if he wanted to. I saw a video on the internet from last season where he and Chris Mihm got into it at practice, and it took the entire Laker team to hold DJ back. He would put Joel on his head in a second.

IndianaBasketballParticipantMaybe Mbenga should think about a career change then lol because basketball wise… He’s terrible.

Henry25ParticipantI’m a Lakers fan, but even i gotta admit how good the Blazers r gonna be this year. I still think the Lakers would win in a 7 game series however. The Lakers have been in thos situations so much the past few years that they know how to play in close games on the biggest stage. The Blazers may beat them a couple of times during the regular season, and if they face off in the playoffs then it would definetley be a 6 or 7 game series, but the Lakers would win.

sheltwon3ParticipantWith Ron Arterst and with a healthy Bynum I think Lakers have the edge but Portland is probably one of the few teams that actually gives Lakers problems. With Ron Artest though, Kobe does not have to guard Roy. Miller and Batum are not huge shooter/score types.
