He played unbelievable but still no post game. Miami should have blew this game open but they are a jump shooting team that could have easily lost this game but Lebron made a ton of jumpers that sometimes don’t fall.

Enough with this jump shot bullcrap and that he should be heading to the rim 24/7. Spurs gave him the shots and he was good enough to take them and as Jeff Van Gundy repeatedly said that is the right basketball play to make.

^this……….i got so sick of van gundy my god, its like having skip bayless call a game, hes a talking contradiction and is just absurd to gain popularity. some of the calls he agrees with a disagree with are mind boggling. Just anyone else……hubie brown, steve kerr, marv, anyone but van gundy.

Lebron with the second NBA title this one against the best organization in basketball and against the greatest player in the 2000s Tim Duncan. Lebron has now delivered on his potential to me 2 championships to finals MVPs he’s the man and will be the greatest player in 2010s and he has delivered in the clutch two games in a row he is the truth.

I hate when people make this stupid comparison, Pippen was on the bulls as a rookie, he grew with Jordan, he played his entire career with Jordan, he didn’t leave the sonics in free agency to play with someone else, he was created is chicago

So it’s LeBron’s fault that Cleveland didn’t draft someone to be an All-Star and his #2?

Cleveland problem was they got too good too fast, and had little to no assets to trade, but I’m not making the case for Cleveland, I just said how stupid it is to compare a player that played grew and developed by a team than leaving a team and joining up with other good players.

point I’m trying to make is Pippen WAS CHOSEN by the bull as an unproven rookie, Lebron LEFT for another team, thats it

Did you see the team Lebron took to the Finals in 2007?

That was one of the worst rosters to make the finals. All through his time at Cleveland he never had the benefit to play with such a talented list.

He was stuck in a terrible situation in Cleveland, it was talentless. I would find it very difficult to see Jordan even taking that 2007 cavs team to the finals nevertheless win it.

You are missing the point as he was talking about playing with all stars not whether or not they were traded in or drafted.

Btw, I am a Cavs fan. He had no chose but to leave, it was talentless and medicore list. What would you do if you were James, and stuck in Cleveland. He would have been forever mocked and scrutinized about not winning rings in Cleveland and finishing his carrer with none or 1. It is a lose/lose for James. Stays he gets bagged, goes he gets bagged.

Some of the people who post on this forum talk about basketball like its pro wrestling. What does it matter if LeBron lives up to expectations that YOU have for him? Do you think he played balls out tonight so some lonely dude behind a computer would decide he had reached his potential as a player?

I got news for you: Nobody will be the next Jordan, just like nobody will be the Next Kobe, or the Next Wilt, or 20 years from now, the Next LeBron. Nobody will be the “Next Shawn Bradley” either. These are individual players with individual legacies, different skills and different minds and different goals; they don’t only exist in these stupid archetypes and paradigms that you have created in your head. Only Michael Jordan is Michael Jordan. LeBron James is only LeBron James. shut up and go post about which three middle schoolers you think will somehow coalesce on the same team ten years from now and comprise a “Big Three”.

Hats off to both the Heat and the Spurs for playing one of the most intense NBA Finals I have ever seen. Basketball competition doesn’t get any better than that.

Congrats to Lebron. It’s incredibly difficult for a player with the highest of expectations to play in the day and age of social media. He is ripped apart for anything wrong he does on a play by play basis. You can see the weight of the world on his shoulders at times. He showed some big balls tonight. Two titles, two finals MVP’s. 4 regular season MVP’s. He’s not even 30. Hope people that hate him at least know what greatness they are witnessing.

For game 7 I liked how Leborn finally started stepping into those jumpers with confidence instead of shooting them as his last resort. They were giving him so much space all series. He has plenty to work on still. Like Jordan I expect him to refine some of his weaknesses as time goes on.

granted, you’re probably too young to remember, but people HATED Jordan at his apex too. Quitting to play baseball was his version of The Decision back in the day. And are you kidding me? Kobe Bryant was the most hated dude in sports for most of his reign. people hated Kobe so much that they were even willing to believe he raped some white trash attention whore hotel employee in Denver ten years ago.

I feel like it should be pretty obvious to you by now that getting hated on is a fundamental element of being a success. If people dont hate you, you’re probably a loser. Nobody hates on Darius Miles or Jonathan Bender.

Yea Kobe was so hated for the longest time, hated bad even before any of the rape charges. Kobe was easy to hate, he was/is so cocky, i grew up loving Allen Iverson, he was like a god to me so i really hated the lakers and Kobe, now a decade later im not a fan but i have enjoyed watching him the past 4-5 years, its his confidence that makes him so great(and unbelievable talent/skill.) No matter what when your a champion your gonna have alot of haters
