Not that I’m a Jazz fan or anything, but I have mocked that Brandon Knight(PG/SG) goes at #3 and Klay Thompson(SG/SF) goes at #12. Considering how stacked their frontline is, does that combination sound accurate to you?

The only change I could see is if Burks was still on the board at #12.

If we don’t take Knight at 3, and if Irving and Williams don’t fall we might take Kanter and then Jimmer at 12.

Assuming your a Jazz fan, theres something I’ve been eager to ask you: Why would you consider taking Kanter at #3 when you already have Al Jefferson and (albeit injury-prone, but still a capable backup) Mehmet Okur? Dont get me wrong, Kanters a good player. I just thought Knight could slide into that starting 2-gaurd spot alongside Devin Harris and Thompson would be good insurance just incase Kirilenko leaves or if Hayward doesnt pan out. Make sense? Then again, I’m not a Jazz fan, but I do follow ALL NBA teams as much as I can.

Neither is Kanter for the most part, I think the Jazz get Irving at 3 for some reason, or draft Kanter and trade him for Vessely(Washington has the 6th and 18th pick to trade up for Kanter, who preferred playing in Washington with John Wall)…either way the Jazz will likely get a Sf and Pg, I have them getting Vessely and Jimmer at the very least and possibly getting a Sg from Washington with the 18th pick if they do trade down for Vessely and the 18th pick….

If Kanter is still avalible at 3, and the Jazz want KInight as we are predicting, then what would be wrong in the Jazz and Wiz swapign picks, with the Jazz getting the Wiz’s top 15 protected next year. Somthing along the lines of that sounds reasnoble. Or they could keep their 3, and trade up their 12 to 5, where the Raps are, and go with the three man punch of the future, Knight, Favors, Williams/Kanter. Why dont you ask No Money. He is a Jazz fan.

Problem is Okur may be done, the Jazz are going into the draft and free agency assuming he wont play this year. His contract is one that he Jazz will try to move but most likely wont be able to. I think they will get an Medical exception similar to the one the Rockets got for Yao or Blazers got for Oden.

The Jazz front court is stacked if you think Big Al , Favors and Milsap are what you want as your front line but to me that is an undersized front court and Kanter would be a great addition and although not super tall or long he is taller and longer, than what we have.. He’s young, talented and has major upside. Big Al and Milsap play poor D and if you take BPA, then I think you take Kanter and look to trade Al or Paul.  As far as a two guard the Jazz have Hayward and CJ and both play best at the 2,  again though if you take BPA, maybe you take Burk or  Thompson.  Knight is a good player, but to me he’s not worthy of the 3, he may end up being the player we end up with but he’s alot like the pt we have (Harris).  Jimmer would be a very good pick if we take Kanter at 3, Jimmer gives the Jazz something they need, a good outside shooter and a player who can create off the dribble.

I may take Montajunas or Singleton at 12 if we take Knight at 3.  Montejunas is very skilled 7’0 player, that’s hard to pass up at 12 and Singleton is versatile , defensive stopper, something we need.

Okur’s career is pretty much over. So we need a true center, to play along Jefferson/Millsap and Favors. Also Jefferson and or Millsap, Okurs big expiring and Harris may ultimately be traded.
Greg Miller said they wanted to address size and shooting in this draft. You get both with Kanter and Jimmer. Who Knows what kind of rebounder and scorer Kanter can be. And we are all familiar with Jimmer. And now after the combine thw chances are even higher we take him. If Harris can stay healthy he’s more than servicable and affordable for the next year or two. Unless the front office feels Knight is a star, in which case I would trust their decision. I like Knight but idk if he’s a “true” pg. Hopefully Irving or Williams will slip also.

If Irving or better d-williams fall at 3, we’ll pick them, if this not happens will take the best available (Kanter or Knight)

12th depends on what we pick at 3th…i think we’ll go to alec burks, Jimmer or Jordan Hamilton

With 2 picks, the jazz will have to pick at least white guy – GUARANTEED…this is utah we are talking about…

whether that is kanter or jimmer – they will take at least 1
