After Hollins was let go,everyone that followed the Grizzlies ”KNEW”’,that Joerger will be the guy hired….The Hollins said he never felt respected by the new owner and that he only talked to him about 3 times since he bought the team..
Joerger has the talent to become a very good coach….And starting it with a team he’s familier with, gives him a great boost…..But they’re going to miss Hollins,becuz he knew how to manage the different egos ,the young players and the stars……

Well my “sources” proved to be correct. Some now think that we are going after Ed Pinckney and maybe even Alvin Gentry as assistant coaches.
I am glad we got this taken care of before the draft.
The West will be wide open again next year and I think the Grizzlies can be as good as anyone. We still might retool the roster though.
