I noticed on the Hoopshype rumours feed that Giannis Antetokoumpo has grown two inches in the last year and is now 6ft 11ins tall which will create even more match up issues for his opponents going forward.

Milwaukee takes his older brother Thanasis in the 2nd round to pair the brothers together? Both freak athletes and specimens and would probably inject some personality into the Bucks franchise along with the Owners hot daughter and Parker.

     Do it Milwaukee!

Wow! How much does he weigh, can he potentially play pf in the future? Just wondering if Wiggins could actually fit next to him.

Those are two very versatile players. I think Wiggins should begin at SG to give him confidence over smaller players. Eventually Wiggins can play SG and SF while Giannis will be able to play SF and PF.

Them playing SG and SF together would create nightmares for other teams.

No wonder Jabari prefers Milwaukee to Cleveland.

Not only has he grown nearly 2 inches, but he has also gained 27(!) pounds since September and now weights 217 lbs.

I agree that pairing him with either Wiggins or Parker will create a great combo and the Bucks will have insane length at a lot of positions with Henson at PF as well.

I can see the Bucks being able to operate a flexible system whereby a couple of the guys can switch positions easily if needs be.

Giannis certainly looks a very good draft pick last year by John Hammond and this year’s pick looks a no brainer now – basically whoever out of Wiggins and Parker that the Cavs pass on. The Bucks may be a team to make a big bounce next year, they will still likely be lottery but may well surprise a few teams along the way and anything near to 30 wins would be a good stepping stone.

Giannis would probably go #1 or #2 if the draft were done again.  That was a homerun of a draft pick.  Heck, even if he only made incremental improvements this season he would have to be considered a premium asset if Milwaukee DOES take a step forward this year and wants to have another Top 3 pick in next year’s draft to get one of the elite big men that will be available.  I don’t think the Bucks will actually make a big jump this year, which is to their advantage.  Let’s say Cleveland takes Parker and the Bucks go with Wiggins, both of those guys have ridiculous ceilings that will take a few years for each player to reach.  Then, a guy like Okafor is available in the Top 3 and the Bucks have a "Big 3" of their own that they can use to make some serious noise moving forward in the Eastern Conference.  If you look at Cleveland, who has had 3 #1’s, and two other Top 4 picks in the past 4 years, they have made so many mistakes it’s ridiculous.  The draft is meant to make these teams that are out of contention and put them in a situation where they can compete with an injection of talent.  The Wolves and Cavs both hit homeruns with one of their high picks and failed with almost all of their other picks and are both in line to possibly lose the picks they actually did well on.  The Bucks should be excited for their future.

Honestly, Milwaukee can’t really go wrong with the 2nd pick.  Whether it’s Wiggins, Jabari, or Exum, they’re all great fits with Giannis, and all have the potential to bring some serious excitement back to Milwaukee.  It’s an exciting time to be a Bucks fan.

to me Jabari is the optimal fit in Milwaukee, he will be like angel falling from heaven for them…

    Brandon Knight
    Khris Middleton
    Giannis Adetokunbo
    Jabari
    (Larry Sanders/John Henson)

very sexy lineup, so much length…

Antetokounmpo was already measured at 6-10 when he was playing with Filathlitikos during the 2012-13 season.

He was officially measured at 6-10 by the Greek national team anf FIBA at the Under-20 European championship last summer.

    http://www.fibaeurope.com/cid_KNce8jInH7Qj1EsyH5rjn2.playerID_99285.compID_UIfgjyQcGqk-fPlnl66Tj0.season_2013.roundID_9350.teamID_291.html

    2.08 m = 6’10"

Also, they did not say he was 6’11", they said he was "ALMOST" that tall, meaning he’s actually onl6 6’10", the same height he’s been since he was in Greece, 18 months ago.

Also, the Greek national team weighed him at 210 pounds last summer, so he was not 190 pounds when he came to play with the Bucks.
