jaysmith1987ParticipantThe first pick in the 2011 draft will either be kyrie irving or perry jones mark it down right now and the pick either depends on what team picks first. Harrison Barnes has said he isnt a one and done player so just stop hoping he turns into a monstor over night and takes college basketball by storm and becomes a number one pick. He will be worth the high selection next year who knows Jordan Hamilton from texas is really improved from his freshman year I think Harrison Barnes will be way better next year along with North Carolina.

Mr. 19134ParticipantTerrence Jones is going to be the first pick without a doubt in my mind. He got that Melo/KD sort of moxy and poise and looks every bit the part.
Irving could go one based on if the team that wins needs a PG. Don’t sleep on Kanter either everybody is forgetting about him.
The Top 3 are:
Terrence Jones
Kyrie Irving
Perry Jones

jaysmith1987ParticipantKanter looks like a great prospect especially what he did at the Jordan game going against Sullinger but with him sitting out this season I dont think he ends up number one if he muraciously gets cleared he has a chance.

Mr. 19134ParticipantYou are right about Perry Jones tho he could easily got number one. I have been saying {Perry Jones is going to be the first pick for a while because I frankly just thought he is a better prospect/player then Harrison Barnes. But after the first 5 games it is hard to argue with what Terrence Jones has done to college basketball. He is that physical specimen man child that actually plays like one.
I’m a Sixers fan So I am praying that both Jones and even Barnes pans out. It looks like the Sixers are going to have another top 5 pick So I’m hoping we actually get a franchise talent this time around. The only plays I think have that potential thus far is Terrence Jones, Irving, Perry Jones, Sullinger, Kanter, and Barnes. Also Selby got a great chance of going high. Yes allow me to start the engine on the Josh Selby bandwagon cuz this kid is about to have a monster year.
I think Kanter goes top 5 regardless he is too young with too much size and talent not too.

xavier328Participant#1Kanter
Kanter the best Center Prospect since 2007 but you can make an arguments for Hasheem Thabeet and Cousins.

Mr. 19134ParticipantHe is not a better Center prospect then Cousins or Favors. And I say Favors because he has more then enough size and strength to be an All Star center down the line. I gotta see Kanter’s measurements. If he is a legit 6’11 he got a chance to go first. If he measure in closer to 6’9 he will drop down towards the end of the lottery. He is going to have to have a nice wingspan to play center in the NBA. I hope he does because I like his potential.

mj23mj23besteverParticipantits been awhile sense the field for the no 1 pick has so many players with a legit chance at being no 1 if the team gettting the first pick needs a pg irving is the no 1 pick imo kanter could even still be the no 1 if the team needs a center barnes isnt a sure fire one n done as mentioned above and even if he does declare hes not off to a good start for being off to an amazing start t jones looks like the no 1 imo rite now

Lotto StudParticipantTell you the truth it is almost a LOCK for Perry Jones to become the 1st overall pick in next years draft. He has the biggest BOOM upside out of any of the prospects projected in the Top 5.

torontoraptors10ParticipantI’m sorry, Terrence Jones will not go first overall. There is too much hype with Barnes and Perry Jones and I am going to say it’s going to one of them and Irving has a long shot to be the #1 pick. Terrence Jones will go top 5 for sure, but he MAY end up as one of the better players out of Barnes/Perry Jones/Irving. Not saying he sucks, he is a good player but he will be one of those players picked later and showing GM’s that he was the better pick later in his career.
