Seamo15ParticipantThe pass at 1.21 isn’t all bad. I mean Gerald Wallace did play for the Bobcats

RafterParticipantOh man, it gets even more funny when you take into account who their owner is…..
It’s going to take more than a new coach and draft picks to fix this team.

akhan786ParticipantThis team was utterly pathetic and we got completely screwed out of Anthony Davis. And to make it worse the One Brow Wonder actually WANTED to play in Charlotte. Have you EVER heard "wanted to play in Charlotte" before???
I for one haven’t and I thought finally the BBall Gods smiled upon us only to let Stern ruin it.
The only bright spots on our team were Kemba and Gerald Henderson. They were the ONLY players that gave their best effort night in and night out and it’s unfortunate that both these young promising players have to grow in such a bad situation.
I mean their "veteran" Corey F**** Maggette acted like simply didn’t give a sh*t!! He acted as if just to spite the Bobcats from aquiring him he decided to play as poorly as possible. How is that a good influence on our young players?
I also got to say kudos to the Spurs. They really can make ANYONE look good. To have that sack of big macs in Boris Diaw starting on a Conf Finals team was truly jaw dropping.
I like the trade for Ben Gordon but it is sort of bittersweet because then Henderson might be leaving. I’m sad to see him go, but I’m also happy that he gets to leave Charlotte.

B-More410ParticipantLOL at Anthony Davis "wanting" to play in Charlotte, I remember Chris Paul’s press conference he said it was a "dream come true" to be traded to the Clippers

akhan786ParticipantHaha yeah B-morem, Davis actually has some family and friends in Charlotte….but I think he was just trying to be nice lol.

rwd5035ParticipantSo far away from the playoffs. They need to overhaul everything.
Love the Ben Gordon picture btw.

TurnipParticipantI don’t think they’re as bad as people think they are. They’ve got a couple of pretty productive PGs and a front line that can do some things. Add another good player or two and they’re competing for the playoffs. (Granted in the East, that really only means 30+ wins)

rwd5035Participant@Turnip – I seriously disagree with your entire post.
The 8 seed in the East last year was 35-31, which in a full 82 game season would put a team at 43-39. If the Bobcats get to 30 wins, then they are not getting close to the playoffs. 30 wins wouldn’t have been close to the playoffs in the shortened season in the East.
I don’t see the same team you see. In fact, I thought they were the worst team in the NBA by a long margin last season before the season even started. They were last in PPG (87 ppg), 27th in points allowed per game (100.9 PPG), and 29th in opponents FG % (47.9%) Their starting 5 last year was:
DJ Augustin, Gerald Henderson, Corey Maggette, DJ White, Bismack Biyombo
Now, trading Maggette for a future first rounder + Ben Gordon, you get this:
DJ Augustin, Ben Gordon, Gerald Henderson, DJ White, Bismack Biyombo
Is the team below any better than the team above? I don’t think so. This team is terrible, and it’s going take a minimum of two seasons to even get them remotely competitive (I consider 30 wins to be remotely competitive).

Bobcats-number-one-fanParticipantYes we were horrible but a true fan stands behind his team. Rich cho is in charge of the decisions now so better days are hopefully coming. Either way I’m riding with my team, especially now that that dam orange is being fazed out.
