Make’Em Say UGHParticipantWow. Great game last night in the OT thriller between Charlotte & Milwaukee!
– Charlotte came back from 24 down which is the largest comeback in Charlotte’s history. (Hornets or Bobcats)
– Kemba is clutch! Earned his contract, hit the 3 to send to OT and the go-ahead fadeaway shot to win the game! Make no mistake who the leader is on this team.
– 1st thing to catch my eye was MKG. Shot is completely fixed. He was hitting pull up jumpers, fadeaways, free-throws like it was his specialty! Candidate for Most Improved? Had 17 on the night (what seemed to be an easy 17) and probably had the highest FG percentage which is ridiculous considering where he’s coming from.
– Lance didn’t get off to a great start. Hitting his first FG in the 3rd quarter, but he kept at it and came alive late. Flirted with a triple double: 7pts 8ast 13reb instead of hanging his head when his shot wasn’t falling.
With that being said, they were trailing The Bucks by 24 on opening night so some adjustments need to be made:
– Getting the ball inside to Big Al more. (bread & butter last year)
– Obviously the chemistry isn’t there yet, will come with time.
– Finding a good balance in the backcourt between Kemba & Lance.
But all in all this is exciting!

Jr. ROXASParticipantThe crowd was insane there damn!! That change of name was really one of the best moves the franchise has done ever. It was a golden marketing opportunity that the the New Orleans changed their name to Pelicans and Charlotte took advantage of it. I mean, the Bobcats name will forever be a laughingstock amongst NBA followers. The name is almost like a punchline really especially the last 3 years.
The crowd there in Charlotte almost feels like the Toronto crowd or the OKC fans. The atmosphere is electric and the whole game the crowd is just energetic. If they were still the Bobcats with the fanbase they had before, I don’t see them coming back from that 18 point deficit honestly.

Pistol Pete. The PelicanParticipantFirst I have to start by saying love the icon photo. Being from Louisiana, I love the Master P representing. But back to the game. That crowd was insane, it reminded me of the old Sacramento crowds, or like Golden State or OKC is now. It was also great seeing Jordan sitting there on the sideline going insane.
I agree they need to find a balance between Kemba and Lance, and still feed big Al. Which he was getting doubled a lot last night. Cardiac Kemba came through with the stepback to win the game, but he can’t shoot 26 shots. Also I love how Lance brought it even though his shot wasn’t falling. 8 assists and 13 boards. Wow!! And his energy in the 3rd quarter got the crowd going even more especially with that dunk on Larry Sanders.
Also I think this Bucks team will be good, last year people had them making the playoffs before OJ Mayo got fat, and injuries started happening, but this is a team with some young talent, they could be this years Phoenix Suns, and I’m not just saying that after last night, I’ve been thinking that the whole off season.
