I just looked at the current rosters for NBA teams on ESPN.com & Minny does not have Malcolm Lee on the roster. Lee is currently on Chicago’s roster which indicates the deal did not go through.

I am so happy if the deal did not go through because Lee is a guy that will be very helpful especially with Thibbs Defense 1st philosophy.

I see JC11 all day when I look at Lee’s potential.

But, Lee never showed the scoring Crawford did. If anything, he’s more defensive. He’s like Tony Allen in a sense.

Everything I have seen has him in Minnesota, it could just be a mistake.

Just because he plays good D doesn’t make him Tony Allen, Allen is more like an undersized SF while Lee is an oversized PG. I hope people don’t start comparing every good defender coming out to Tony Allen.

Time out, how many players were compared to Tony Allen besides Malcolm Lee and Travis Leslie?

Lee isn’t a great shooter, nor can he run the point guard position at a championship level. He can defend really well, thus he can get Allen complements from me.

Who do you compare him too?

Either that or the developers are lazy and haven’t updated.

I think Lee is a great addition to Chicago, but again their playing SG by commitee.  I wish they could get a sure fire starter for next year.  Last year no Chicago Bull shooting guard played more than 22 minutes per game and it worked to an extent, but I wish they had a guy who could play the offensive AND the defensive side of the ball at a high level and logged 25-30 mpg.

That’d be great if Lee could develop into that kind of player, and I really do like him as a prospect in the long run.  I just hope they are able to acquire a J-Rich or Crawford for next season.
