thetruthParticipantnow this is the same team that almost knock the celtics out of the first round last year without kg. but with ben gordon gone. the bulls dont have that go to guy anymore. and dont get me wrong derrick rose had a good rookie season. but he needs to be more vocal and a leader since hes the franchise player. another thing is they need a new coach . im sorry but vinny is not a pros coach. they need a mark jackson, avery johnson, jeff van gundy type of coach a non sense coach. the bulls also need to get a true big man. they need to go after guys like boozer or try the best to get david lee in a sign and trade. and let go of tyrus thomas. i know hes good at slashing and dunking. but hes no big man. and deng is a good player too but he gets hurt, plus hes inconsistent sometimes. i like noah but hes more of a backup energy big man guy. i think if the bulls can move tyrus thomas , kirk and land a power forward, get another shooting guard say a flip murray they will be staright. let me know what you think

Michael.S.Participantwith Gordon gone it opens up the door for Rose to take all the clutch shots at the end of games and be more aggressive on O at the end in crunch time

Knicksboy34ParticipantI 100% agree.
I would not be shocked if they missed the playoffs.

FutureoftheGameWhy do they need another caoch? Del Negro took a young team to the playoffs his first year ever coaching. He was a rookie and will only get better with time.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantSalmons Will Do Most of The Shot Taking…….and is deng suppose to be ready for opening day??

llperezI think Rose will be an all star this year and the team won’t miss a beat. Deng will return and Salmons will start at sg with Hinrich backing up both gaurd spots. Also the addition of Pargo should help a bit. I see them finishing between 5th and 8th in the east and probably losing in the first round. When Brad Miller’s contract comes off the books next summer, they could sign someone. Actually, maybe they should see if the Jazz want to swap Brad for Boozer straight up since they are both expiring contracts making the same amount. The Jazz don’t want Boozer around anyways and maybe they could get the Bulls to throw in a pick or something to sweetin the deal. Boozer would put the Bulls into contention this year.

gatorheelsParticipantRose, Salmons, Deng, Tyrus, Noah…that lineup will make the playoffs
Bulls bench is very solid as well….hinrich, pargo, james johnson, gibson, miller
They should not trade Tyrus. However trading Hirich & Gibson for another post player would be great.

Knicksboy34ParticipantI dunno. I wanna see who steps up and takes the game-winners/tying shots. I dont think Salmons is that good.

llperezthink of my trade proposal? Does it make sense for both teams?

gatorheelsParticipantYeah but the Jazz would definitely want a 1st round pick & some cash

Michael.S.Participantyes and the Jazz have said they dont just want garbage for Booz they also wanna make their team better, so Chi. will have to atleast have to include someone along with Miller that can help them get a litte better

FutureoftheGameThe only thing is, will Thomas accept coming off the bench or will he throw a shit fit and demand to be traded. That would kill some chemistry.

doubledribblerParticipantAs far as your trade goes, I like Boozer going to the Bulls and I think Jerry Sloan would like Brad Miller, but he might be too much like Okur. Even though I think Boozer is a good fit for them, I’m not sure they should go after him. He is not going to make them a contender and he’s only had 4 healthy seasons out of the 7 he has played. So I’m not sure it would be worth taking a one year flyer on him. I think the Bulls are best off just staying put for the moment unless a trade comes up that blows them away. Right now they need to keep finding the right pieces to put around Rose. Also, I think they have a good chance at landing Wade next year because Miami isn’t going to be competing unless Beasley is going to come in this coming year and average 20 and 10, which I doubt.
As far as Lee goes, I don’t think he is the best fit for the Bulls. They really need a low post scorer, which is why I think Tyrus lost so much time in the playoffs. As for the coach, I am neutral on that, but if they get a new one, who in the world are they going to hire? Avery Johnson will probably inhibit Derrick Rose’s growth like he did with Devin George and Mark Jackson has even less experience than Del Negro.

marcusfizer21ParticipantThe Bulls are going to miss BG’s services especially his clutch shooting…but then again, like I said before Gordon is both a blessing and a curse… A blessing when he gets it going and score 20 or 30 or 40 but also a curse because even if he struggles, he’ll attempt shots and miss 10 straight which is why I was mad at him in Game 7 in the playoffs for taking questionable shots in which Chicago could have set up some plays… Detroit would be getting the same thing next season with Gordon in their bandwagon…
As for Kirk Hinrich, I hope they don’t trade him… He is an underrated but EXCELLENT defender, just look at what he did to Paul Pierce in the playoffs. He can help Derrick Rose in that aspect… While it’s true that the Bulls need a big man to be a threat at the post, I don’t think Boozer is the answer for that… Though he can be a threat to be a double-double guy, but what makes this risky for them is that he is so often-injured and it would hurt the team’s chances of making the playoffs more… Anyway, they have a solid core who can make a shot at the playoffs. Tyrus needs to really improve his offensive skills and I believe that he is working hard at it… We’ll just wait and see whether or not the effect of his work will be seen this year… The Bulls just need to be patient at this point, a big man will come in the palm of their hands and I think it will come soon… I hope Luol Deng will bounce back this year… I hope Derrick rose will be better than ever… I hope John Salmons and Kirk can fill up the shoes of Ben Gordon which I think they will… The Bulls are still a playoff team despite many teams like the Raptors and Bobcats making huge changes in their roster…

Chicago1980ParticipantI an not a big fan of delnegro either i wish they would have went after a real coach like avery johnson i think he would be a real fit for the team delnegro looks over matched against other coaches on most nights and I think that the bulls won in spite of him because they do have a lot of talent. They are gonna miss gordon but they get deng back and salmons is an underrated player in the league you look up and all of a sudden he has 20 points in the game i wish they would go after boozer because that would really give them the post presence that they need.
