It is a 32 team single elimination that is open to anyone who is not a college/nba player, winner gets $500,000 to split with team. This would be very fun to watch. The tournament picks 8 teams it wants then the top 24 other teams are voted in. It would be really fun to see if any former nba stars play in this. Gilber Arenas? Baron Davis? Adam Morrison? This is an extremely fun idea and it would be cool if this ever got telivised.
The cornell team that made it to the sweet 16 is one of the teams looking to get in along with a couple semi pro teams.
