It is kinda funny really. I remember last year everyone was talking about how this years draft was supposed to be so much better than last year’s because last year was only Blake Griffin and there were no big men etc………………this year was to be great because of all the good big men you know the Ed Davis’ and Greg Monroes’ of the draft. But it seems that these big men (Davis, Monroe, Brackins, Aldrich) are slipping down draft boards and this draft is turing into a draft full of wing players. Basically, if the big men draft stocks slip then so does the 2010 Draft. Wing players are a dime a dozen. As of right now the 2010 draft is starting to stink.

Davis in last 3games avg something like 15/11/3 it very very good, Monroe had 19/11/3 last night, they are coming to be really good plus Cole playing just under 25min and does it well, also don’t forget Favors,Cousins,Aminu,Patterson…so i think this is really good draft of big men.

This draft is as stacked with power forwards as last year was with point guards.

this draft is average i think its a litte stronger then average to be honest players are rising up the boards coming out of the woodwork and almost all the seasoned lottery picks fill up the state sheet.when the tourney comes more player will be put in the spotlight season juss begun im likeing Lauderdale,glasser to they have bright futures across seas or nba, d league etc they can ball

i think this draft could be pretty deep like this past years. actually probably a lil deeper.

Big men are always harder to judge than wings. Unless a big is absolutely dominating, they are going to be ranked low all the way until the combine. Thats where certain bigs separate themselves from the rest of the pack. Also, they are getting ranked on 4 or 5 games into the season. Lots of teams havent gotten into the hardest parts of their schedule. This is were good players really show how good they are and the average ones show that too.

I think this draft is stack because you can’t really name who’s going to go 1,2,3. We all assume Wall is going to go 1 but if New Jersey and MN gets the first pick, would they really draft Wall? What would they do with Flynn and Harris? Tons of good wing players and PF. I think Turner, Johnson, Ebanks and Xavier have what it takes to be lottery picks and will be high up there as well. It’s going to be way to early to see what teams would draft untill we get the draft order. Ed Davis, Cole, Favor, Aminu, and Brackins are all solid big men. I think it’s going to be a good draft because a lot of players drafted in the first round will be able to contribute right away in the pro because there isn’t that many Freshmans getting drafted.

Draft rights to John Wall

What trades could the Nets or Wolves do if they were to get the #1 pick and didn’t want it.

i read somewhere about the nets trying to play both wall and harris in the back court together if they get the number one pick. actually it might not be a bad idea for a team with a point guard to draft another one. see which one has more potential and play better and ship the other out for a very good shooting guard. im sure portland would have wished they did that when they skipped out on jordan. and det showed that just because you have a player at the position, that doesnt mean you can’t draft another one ( although they didnt do it when they picked darko over melo). its a win win situation. much better then not drafting then later that player becomes great

Harris can play the two spot and guard a lot of two’s so Wall would be fine as the play maker.

It is a deep draft in terms of parity, but not a lot of players are EXPECTED to dominate their position.

Of course no one can predict the future tho

yea he is a PG. I think the Nets draft plan is going to weigh heavily on what they are gonna be able to do in free agency. Everyone is talking about the Knicks and what not but if I was DWade, Lebron, Bosh, or Amare, a team with Harris at PG, Lopez a true center, and a top-3 pick coming in plus the Russian owner who might move them to Brooklyn plus Jay’s stardom attracting attention then damn that looks a lot better than going to the helpless Knicks with no 1st rounder and no players even close to Harris or Lopez.
