Don’t you ever get tired of knowing who’s gonna get picked first before the day of the draft? I, for one, would like a little suspense. The only time I can remember where there was no absolute guarantee as to who would get picked 1st was back in 2004 with Howard and Okafor.

Thats because the media always hypes 1 player up so much during the season that teams just fall in love with them. If we never heard of non of these guys year in and year out the number 2 pick would usally be the number 1 pick. Wall is a good but without all the hype in no way would he be the 1st pick over turner. It wont be as bad as Oden over Durant but it is clear who the best player in this draft is

05 was an odd draft, I was wrong about a lot of players that year.

Wasn’t there some debate in the 2003 draft? You gotta love the suspense of the 2003 draft. Yeap.

I agree, teams make it too obvious who they are drafting, not just for the first picks but for a lot of them, sure they are allowed to give feedback but I would rather them just not give away what players they really like and kind of shock everyone. For example the Wizards only worked out Wall I believe, can you make it any more obvious?
