I like you Gatorheels. LOL. I think K-State shocks the basketball world and pulls it off. We match up quite well with them, and I see Clemente and Pullen stepping up and playing a great game. Better believe I will all in the TV screen for this one!

Yeah I really don’t think Kansas St. is the 9th best team in the nation but something is telling me that Texas has one of those "let down" games. Should be close but I look for Kansas St. to be energized by the crazy crowd. Texas may get rattled a bit.

Looks like Kentucky will be the new #1

not sure whay you think jacovn would start..balby isnt losing his spot because hes there best defender. mason is also a very good defender and bradley is just better. kstate is going at them hard so far. they have texas on the ropes. lets see if they can put them away

    Texas:

Balbay and Lucas are struggling to start up the offense consistently, let alone create opportunities to score. If I was Kansas State, I would force Balbay to shoot jumpers instead of pressure the ball. He wouldn’t have the 4 points he has if KState would’ve dove underneath the screens and laid off ball pressure. He can break pressure by himself with his quickness. Lucas has been terrible though, must worse than Balbay.

Damion James’ shots aren’t falling that much, but he does look the part of a 1st rounder just by his moves and physical tools. He has forced shots though and needs to sure up his passing skills. Kinda TO prone.

Gary Johnson has played strong and played good help D, but he’s limited the farther he is from the rim.

Dexter Pittman has looked tired and he doesn’t jump high in traffic. He lays the ball up too much around the rim, and got his shots rejected because of it. He’s also shown a lack of toughness at times complaining and getting knocked around too much for someone his size.

Jordan Hamilton looks good offensively, but he’s a little shaky handling the ball and defensively he falls asleep a little.

    K-State:

Denis Clemente makes good plays and bonehead plays. You have to live with it. He’s the fastest PG end-to-end with the ball in the nation besides John Wall. Pressures the ball and shows active hands on D.

Jacob Pullen? Where are you?….If there’s one thing Texas has done, it’s collapse the screens and curls to free Pullen. He needs more handles to free himself. His 1st step is shaky too. Good on ball D though.

Jamar Samuels and Curtis Kelly have been outstanding. Samuels has made all kinds of effort plays offensively and has shown the ability to be a good face-up PF. Kelly defends the pick and roll well, and knows how to use his length effectively. He needs a better basketball IQ though.

Martavious Irving is going to be a good one in a few years. Reminds me of Jacob Pullen, especially when Pullen was a freshman.

Wally Judge can’t play alot because he literally gets in foul trouble EVERY GAME.

the texas guards are putting that lock down d on the kstate guards. the fowards and centers need to follow suit and do the same to samuels

Texas is lacking that go to guy, damion james is good but most of his points are put back, fast break, or open shots. They need a guard that can consistantly get into the paint.

lacking a go to guy?..because of one game?..lol this is conference play fellas int he big 12. probably wont be there first lost. every title team except one have lost games every year. im willing to bet 90percent lose at least 3. it happens. not the end of the season and it doesnt mean they all of a suddent there players arent that good or they dont have a go to guy. they just lost to a better team that night

Yea they have James and Pittman to go to if they need a push…They didn’t have the best game yesterday, and probably will never be ideal 1st options/go-to guys in the NBA, but they can be that in college. Theyve proven it this season for the most part

my question, is where was wally judge this game, and where has he been this season. HIS PRODUCTION and impact is nonexistent. He was like the number 17 overall player in the nation.

Wally Judge is PAINFULLY raw…He also can’t defend without fouling. Also, Kelly and Samuels are outplaying him badly. I really hope he gets better though, because it would help for him to develop for next season when we’ll be less guard heavy
