JoeWolf1To me Williams is going to be an athletic energy guy off the bench for the Nets this season. I can see him providing a valuable defensive spark, he is a good rebounder and defender. I don’t think he’ll ever be a very good scorer at an NBA level, but If he can play Battier style ball which I think he can do, while being a better rebounder and post player than Battier (which I think he has the potential to do) Williams can be a really good player in the league. I agree with you 76er he does need to prove he can shoot or minutes are going to be harder for him to come by this season.

JNixonParticipantI’m a big T-Williams guy….he actually reminds me exactly of Andre Iguodala. Especially when Iguodala 1st came in the L. I think he has the ability to be to be a borderline all-star and he will come close to getting there. I see him overtaking Courtney Lee sometime soon…

cprizz15Participantwith Terrence Williams but in your texas article you have their ideal starting five.. and you put Gary Johnson as the back up shooting guard.. im just curious if you know who that is because is definitely not a shooting guard. hes a power forward who doesnt even range out to past 12 feet.
and t will might not have to have a huge role this year but def in 2 or 3 years he could be a big contributor on hopefully an alright nets team..

McWinningParticipantput punk music on instead. like Green Day ”Know your enemy”. that should be the intro instead.

JoeWolf1Yeah, Iguodala9, from a physical standpoint I agree. He has a long way to go though, he is still a little raw on offense, but If he can improve on his ball handling and shooting, I could see him being very good. If not he is a good enough athlete, defender and rebounder to still be good, but I think right now that is still a lot of “ifs”

McWinningParticipantyeah but that was the theme for the national championship game. also ”remember the name” by Fort Minor is a good song. their the only rap band i like. (could be something to do with them being a sidekick of Linkin Park).

0 - Posted on: Sat, 09/12/2009 - 2:32pm #212196

Pistol Pete. The PelicanParticipanti think he can be better than battier, because of his athleticism, he will get some scores just from being athletic.
