60+ winning teams —–> lakers, blazers, celtics, magic

50+ winning teams ——> cavaliers, nuggets, spurs, dallas, atlanta, chicago, miami

40+ winning teams ——> jazz, hornets, suns, pistons, wizards

lakers of course will get 60…could make a run for 70.. Blazers getting miller will allow the team
to only get better and things will become easier. celtics will get there again..reguardless if health
becomes an issue…again. Magic look great, i see 60 wins easily.

Why the cavs drop is because shaq is no garuntee for anything, plus he could end up injured. I
think after what happend to the cavs against orlando…teams will start finding flaws and expose the
cavs for who they really are. the nuggets need martin to actually play offense once in awhile to
become a major threat…not taking away anything from them ok? The spurs could easily be elected
to the 60 wins collum, but i think they’ll be resting duncan more than ever and parker and ginobli
won’t be healthy all year long either. The mavericks are looking better as well, i just don’t see them
as a serious threat…again..and again. Atlanta, chicago and miami are easily 50 win teams. The hawks
have crawford to bring some points off the bench and they kept bibby, pachulia and williams. The bulls
will get in the 50 win collumn through hunger. Rose will have an amazing soph year. I’m tired of hearing
about how the heat didn’t get any better. Maturity and chemistry make the team better…period. If sir
wade is healthy and chalmers and beasely are there with him all year long…with 1 trade sooner or
later…this team will show you why wade deserves mvp.

The jazz and the hornets will be around the mid 40’s. I just don’t see them getting any further without
a huge shakeup of things. Also, with amar’e healthy…with nash and hill next to him..i see phoenix in
the lower 40’s for wins. pistons adding bg and vill and wilcox should bring enough help to crack 40 this year.
And last, arena’s healthy and back to full strength playing along side butler, jamison, haywood ..with
the addition of foye and miller and rising talent in young, stevens, mcgee/blatche…they’ll win 40.

I cannot see the Bulls winning 50 plus. Maybe in the 40 plus range.

The Blazers will not win 60 plus games this year…and the Jazz will win 50 before the Bulls and the Heat. Not to mention I don’t see the Pistons doing all that well because I just can’t see Rodney Stuckey as a real starting PG. A starting 2 maybe, but I don’t really see him as a staring PG, or a legit PG for that matter.

Dallas may get 60 and Atlanta should be a shoo in for 50 games they play in the East and their athleticism bug most teams in the regular season. Detroit could get 40 but to me it is not set but who knows they have the talent and if they can get some chemistry that is a dangerous team. Offensive wise they have a lot of fire power. I dont trust their coach though. Bulls look like a 40 win team unless they make a trade or pick up boozer. Utah should be a 50 win team, they always do well in the regular season and did pretty decent with a lot of injuries. Miami is not a 50 win team but Wade and Beasley should have them at 40 or so. This is a dark horse pick but I am saying LAC and GSW get a least 40 wins. They may not be enough for the playoffs but they will make it dangerous.

Houston is my favorite team but if Tracy comes back after the allstar break I’m not sure we can crack 20 wins, let alone 40+ wins.

I agree with everything you said except, I don’t think Atlanta is a lock for 50 wins. I see them around 45-50 wins. Still no great inside presence unless Horford steps up. Bibby is not getting any better and can’t defend or create well. While Johnson, Smith and Marvin have all the talent in the world, they lack toughness and consistency. Other teams in the east will be stepping up as well like Wizards, Raptors, and Pacers so the east won’t be as easy as it has been recently.
