    1. Blake Griffin wins ROY although James Harden comes in close second playing a more complimentary role for a better Thunder team – I agree 50%. The Thunder won’t be better than the Clippers this season. They’re too weak at the power forward and center positions at this point.

    2. Derrick Rose improves on his ROY season and joins the discussion with Paul and Deron as best PG. – I agree 50%. Rose will improve this year, but he won’t enter that discussion just yet. Speaking of Rose, he’s gotten off to a rough start due to a sprained ankle. That makes two seasons in a row now he’s starting the season off unhealthy. Last season it was his tendonitus in his knees, this season it’s his ankle.

    3. Cleveland has just as impressive regular season, but slips up again in the Conference finals against the Celtics – I agree 50%. Cleveland will have a great regular season, but not better than the Celtics. The Celtics won 60 games last season without KG the second half of the season. They’re THAT much better this season. I see Cleveland as the second seed and think they’ll be elliminated by Orlando again in the Conference Semifinals.

    4. Playoff regulars like Phoenix, Houston, and Detroit finally make their exit to the lottery – I agree, especially with Houston and Detroit. I think Phoenix will be in competition for a playoff spot in the West. but will come up short.

    5. Lebron James wins the MVP, Dwayne Wade in a very close second – Toss up. The MVP will go to the player with the best record. If the Lakers have the best record, I think it’ll go to Kobe.

    6. Deron Williams finally makes all star team – I agree 100%.

    7. Portland improves upon last year, gives Lakers a 7 game series in the playoffs – I partly disagree and here’s why. I think Portland will improve upon last year, but it’ll take them the first half of the season to develop chemistry. I think they’ll be really good come playoff time. I don’t see them facing the Lakers in the playoffs because I think they’ll be the 3rd seed and have to face San Antonio in the Conference Semifinals where they’ll lose in six games.

    8. Rip Hamilton traded to the Hornets – I agree. He’ll definitely get traded, but I don’t know if it’ll be to the Hornets. They’re the team who was crying about their payroll and traded Rasual Butler to the Clippers for a bag of skittles. Who knows though? They’re also the team who traded Chandler for Okafur who has a longer contract.

    9. Anthony Randolph showes stretches of greatness but doesn’t quite live up to all the hype this year – I agree. He will in the 2010-2011 season though.

    10. Lamar Odom will win 6th man of the year – I’m neutral. He definitely could. He’s arguable the most valuable 6th man in the league and plays the most crucial role.

    11. Tyrus Thomas wins Most Improved Player of the year – I disagree 100%. He’s in a contract year, but he’s gotten off to a rough start this season due to injury. I really think James Johnson and Taj Gibson will push him for minutes this season.

A lot of this I agree with except Suns not making the playoffs. I like that trade though and it would be nice if it happen but who would New Orleans trade for Hamilton though. Also i am not sure that is a good fit because with Paul we need spot up shooters and slashers. Hamilton needs to run off picks and and shoot off curls. Marcus Thorton will make that trade not needed. Also I dont know if Boston can beat a Cleveland team if Shaq is healthy. Perkins is solid and improved but Shaq is still savy enough to garner a double team.

I don’t see dallas making that move. Like i keep saying, Rip has 4 years and 48 million still coming to him. That is gonna be a hard contract to move since he is not getting any better. Howard is younger and his contract is coming off the books. Dallas could probbaly resign him for like 8 mill per if they wanted to keep him.

    1. Blake Griffin wins ROY although James Harden comes in close second playing a more complimentary role for a better Thunder team -Brandon Jennings will win I think and Blake comes in 2nd. Flynn will be 3rd and Harden will be 4th.

    2. Derrick Rose improves on his ROY season and joins the discussion with Paul and Deron as best PG. – Similar to Anthony Randolph, Rose will enter the discussion of the elite in 2010-2011.

    3. Cleveland has just as impressive regular season, but slips up again in the Conference finals against the Celtics – I think Cleveland will be eliminated earlier. I think Orlando and Boston will be the Conf. Final teams.

    4. Playoff regulars like Phoenix, Houston, and Detroit finally make their exit to the lottery – I agree, I think the Rockets record will completely suck ala last year’s Wizards team and Detroit and Phoenix will be lottery material.

    5. Lebron James wins the MVP, Dwayne Wade in a very close second – I think it’ll be Dwight Howard, then Lebron and Wade.

    6. Deron Williams finally makes all star team – Agreed.

    7. Portland improves upon last year, gives Lakers a 7 game series in the playoffs – I think they’ll make it to the Conference Finals against LA, but I think it’ll end in 6 instead of 7.

    8. Rip Hamilton traded to the Hornets – I could definitely see this happening, I said the Warriors in my bold predictions but the Hornets seems like a more logical deal.

    9. Anthony Randolph showes stretches of greatness but doesn’t quite live up to all the hype this year – I agree. But Wait til 2010-2011, like I always say. That will be his year.

    10. Lamar Odom will win 6th man of the year – I’m going Anthony Morrow or Jason Terry.

    11. Tyrus Thomas wins Most Improved Player of the year – Don’t see it. I think Greg Oden will get it. And Gallinari will be 2nd.

I know you’re joking, but if that actually happens you will be king. Because who else would predict that?
