He is currently at 41 in the latest mock. Anyone else think that is extremely low?

To me he is a first round talent. He has prototype size, length and athleticism for the wing position at the next level. He is quick enough to guard 2 and 3s and may eventually be able to play some small ball 4. He has a nice 3 point stroke and improving ball-handling and passing skills. This site uses demare Carroll as a player comp and I think that’s somewhat accurate. I also see some similarities to khris Middleton and Tony snell in his game as well. Anyone else think he is being overlooked and could potentially be a steal in this draft?

I could easily see him being a demarre Carroll, tayshaun prince type of glue guy. Never gonna put up big numbers but does a little bit of everything and meshes with the team. Easily a first round pick to me

I don’t think 41 is necessarily a bad spot for him. I feel, and have felt for the past year or so, that he has a definite role in the NBA. The problem is that he projects as a role player, there’s no guarantee he’ll become an elite role player like Carroll or Tayshaun, so I feel anywhere from about 25-45 is his range.

With Royce O’Neal gone, he has shown a new element of his game, and that is distributing the ball. Baylor’s offense prefers small combos who can create for themselves, to pure points. As a result their wings often do a fair share of distributing. His 2.7 assists per game more than doubles his output from last year, in similar minutes, and he’s increased his assist/TO ratio all 4 years at Baylor.

I just feel he’s got a pretty broad range.

    23-40 range for me.

He’s a pretty young senior, hes’ improving every year, still a bit of upside, Carroll improved in the nba like 5 or 6th str8 years and he was a 23yo rookie.

A typical bulls/spurs late 1st rounder, i would take him at 27-28 as a sun, hawks/clipps are legit options at 23-25, team need.

Worth buying an early 2nd rounder if he falls, sixers, bucks, celts have tons of them.

Demarre Carroll meets Matt Barnes, should go 16-22 range…
