    Being a Big 10 fan I saw this kid play a lot this year.  I do not expect him to get drafted, but was wondering what everyone thought about his chances of getting a look as an undrafted free agent.  The guy can really fill it up and score from all over the court and he plays with a ton of heart.  What are your thoughts on his chances of catching on with an NBA team?

    Depends on if a team has a spot for him. He’s small and not a pure PG, but he’s quick, a big-time scorer with crazy range, and he isn’t afraid of big shots. I could see him being like JJ Barea, but it really comes down to if a team has room for him and falls in love with him. It all depends on situation.

     If Scotty Reynolds couldn’t make it I don’t see how Battle would, but I wish him well.

    Talor Battle is a good bit quicker than Scottie Reynolds.

    Scottie Reynolds is his ceiling. Career Dleague/Euro player.

    Taylor is a better athlete than Reynolds and but I dont think he has much of a shot, but I think is was a very good college good. If he makes a team he is definitely worthy to make it. I have seen worse.

    His ceiling is a Lou Williams type of player. Small, pretty athletic, hybrid pg/sg, and a decent shooter. Likely Euro player though.

    I know the "JJ Barrea" role is thrown out for a lot of these guys but the fact is Barrea was lucky a team has stuck by him, many players like him in the past have been thrown to Europe without getting a fair chance. Guys like Battle, Pullen, Hardy, Delaney, Wright, Warren, Lucas, etc, all "could" find a Barrea role in the NBA but with limited roster spots and teams avoiding small non pure points, it’s almost a game of luck. Whoever manages to find themselves in a situation where there is a roster spot for them is lucky to be in the league, for the rest of them they are likely D-league or Europe players. It’s a crap shoot, every year super talented scoring guards in college never sniff the NBA. Guys like Tyrese Rice, Jarrius Jackson, Quincy Douby, Jack McClinton, Sean Singletary we all thought for sure they’d find NBA careers as spark plug scorers, but where are they now.
