    2008 NBA Draft

    1. Chicago- Derrick Rose- Of Course

Now Miami if this union was planned for the Big 3 to come together who do they pick with the #2 Pick

Westbrook- he is playin out of this world this season and would be a great lead guard for Miami

Mayo- He can play off the ball allow James to run point forward and Mayo and Wade can defend the 1 and 2 while James takes the 3 also Mayo is a knock down shooter

Lopez- A legit 7 footer, but he is not a defensive guy and he doesnt rebound that well

Gordon- Similiar to Mayo for this team, not as good a ball handler, but a knock down shooter can defend 1 and 2 along with Wade, James at point forward

Love- Rebounding Machine but a Love/Bosh frontcourt would get thrashed because they are at best mediocre defenders

Gallinari- Another knock down shooter, they could go James/Wade/Miller/Gallinari/Bosh and score in bunches. I would replace Bosh with Amar’e for this team though if I was Miami

I would choose Mayo mainly because of versatility he can go point or off the ball he defends well and has a beautiful stroke

Whoever they select, they wouldn’t be able to form the Big 3, that’s why they got rid of Beasley.

I’d just like to point out that Lebron, Mayo and Amare were in the starting lineup for my build a team.

It’s too bad Blake Griffin didn’t enter the draft. There were reports that Riley was considering him with the second pick.

Wade, LeBron and Griffin. Griffin would be a better fit than Bosh since he’s a great rebounder and doesn’t need a lot of offensive touches (he can get his own via offensive rebounds). All Griffin would need to do is work on his 15 foot jumper.

I think Amare would have fit alot better than Bosh. If Bosh isnt giving them anything defensively or on the boards, then theres nothing that makes him better than stoudamire.

i hope they haven’t been planning this since 08. 3 superstars on the same team struggling like this.but if i had to chose one i would have drafted lopez to have a real low-post threat instead of the 6’10 small forward Bosh(lol).so i would have had (wade-lebron-lopez -haslem) and what til 2011 free agent and get cp3

#2 would have been TOOO high for Blake Griffin back then. Right now, it would not have been considered a reach but then? Griffin was still raw a little bit and I doubt floundering around Miami with Haslem would have installed the beast he has in him now.

Just Miller, they had Bird rights on Haslem. They used the MLE on Miller.

I don’t think Westbrook would be a good pick at all, he needs the ball in his hands and can’t shoot, but Lebron and Wade need it in there hands also.

Lopez is good but doesn’t play defense much, I would choose Roy Hibbert, gives them an inside presence, good passer and good defensively.

Why the Beasley hate? In retrospect, Beasley still has more potential than Mayo, Lopez, and Gallinari, and don’t get me started on Lopez who is a jumpshooting big man masquerading in a 7ft center’s body…

I liked him better then Beasley at the time but it would have been tough for him to play with even just Wade…
