M-DYMESParticipantlol, I can almost guarantee I won’t be able too though. I always feel like this year I gotta give up on them but its sickening that I just can’t. I’m still real pissed about Babbitt though.
Oh joy more internationals. Gotta love it 😉 Then we will end up trading them for future drafts picks, in a never ending cycle that allows us to accumulate more and more picks for future years. This way drafts will always be exciting and it will be something we can hope to look forward to after mediocre seasons.

M-DYMESParticipantT-WOLVES ANNUAL CYCLE
1. Have a below .500 season
2. Look forward to the lotto
3. Fall or stay put in the lotto, never ending up with 1st overall
4. Miss out on 1st tier players
5. Trade other picks for $, additional future picks, or international players
6. Do some more trading of those picks/players
7. Trade atleast 1 star/solid player for shit draftees
8. Not able to draw in top FAs
9. Contemplate making solid trades, opt to stay put until the cycle reoccurs
10. Cycle ensues…0 - Posted on: Fri, 06/25/2010 - 11:31am #341530

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantI honestly hate being a T-wolves fan right now. Wes Johnson is a good pick, but other than that, a complete disaster. 4 SF’s. One of whom has already hit his ceiling (Martell Webster). Arrgh…we should have kept Babbit or taken James Anderson at 16, or packaged 16 and 23 to move up and grab someone better (like Xavier Henry or Paul George). A Henry/Johnson combo would have been pretty sick, and an instant upgrade. Instead, Kahn takes LAZAR FRICKIN HAYWARD, a guy who some had not even being drafted, at 30, when Whiteside, Alabi, Ebanks, Stephenson…any number of players who would have been better fits, were still on the board. Not only that, but after shopping Jefferson so aggressively, we’re getting less and less in return for offers. Kahn is a textbook example as to how to alienate players and fans, and how to get people to not want to play for your team. I think any fan could do a better job than Kahn. I’m *this close* to losing all loyalty to the Wolves and becoming an OKC fan.
