MkadozaParticipantI am pumped as a Cuse alum. Michigan is killin the boards and McGary is a monster early, but this looks like its going to be a high action game.

halfdecayedParticipantDavid Lee is a horrible shot blocker though.. McGary can play really defend

geothermalParticipantwow! 2 early blocks for McGary, and active on the offensive board. i see a bright future for him, i mean do you see david lee on him??, he knock down a good mid range, and has a good form

MkadozaParticipantMichigan… cannot… miss. Robinson and McGray are beasting.

MkadozaParticipantFunny that McGary’s stock is pretty much where it was preseason, when he dominated the summer circuit and showed all the tools of a dominant post player.

JM40ParticipantMcGary is a lottery pick right now….no question about it. Athletic, strong, can pass and defend, runs the floor and plays great in the high pick and roll game……this all screams lottery pick.

220ParticipantI’m really impressed with Mitch McGary. Big, athletic, great hands, good basketball IQ, and good court vision/passing. The way he’s played I’d be surprised if he doesn’t come out this year. Michigan is looking good.

MkadozaParticipantFair is playing like a boss, and McGary might be the best rebounder in the country. His per minute stats make him in the conversation.

Ghost01ParticipantMore bad calls…The fact that both of those went against MCW was ridiculous… The first clearly should have been an offensive foul on Hardaway, the 2nd was a foul, but at that stage of the game, for a play 30 feet away from the basket, there’s no way that’d be call in the NBA.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/06/2013 - 5:32pm #760755

Ghost01Participant…And then a lane violation call. I’m surprised they didnt call Southerland on a travel on that 3…

Ghost01Participant….And a charge call to top it off. Gotta love NCAA officiating. God awful. Just god awful.

Ghost01ParticipantMaybe I don’t get it, but I always felt like a charge call comes when it is absolutely clear the offensive player was out of control, and clear that the defensive player was perfectly set. Now it seems like every 50/50 play goes charge.

AwardedBallerParticipantJordan Morgan had his feet in the air while Brandon Triche was driving…. Referees are so stupid, this was Ed Rush-esque type call.

Ghost01ParticipantI really hate complaining about officiating, but this entire tournament has been marred with terrible calls. Terrible calls that literally changed game outcomes. This has been an awful NCAA tournament, to be honest, and really the cap on a weak season of collegiate basketball. I hope this load of 2013 recruits that everyone is drooling over turn out to be as advertised because this has been just bad. In this entire final four, there was what? one sure fire lottery pick (Burke) two maybe lottery picks (McGary and MCW) and 2 other first rounds (Dieng and Robinson III). Last year Kentucky alone had 4 first rounders , including the top 2 picks and 2 second rounders.

Ghost01ParticipantI can’t say Syracuse didn’t deserve to lose, because they blew so many opportunities. I never thought their team was quite good enough to win it all this year. MCW and Triche weren’t consistent enough scorers, and Southerland was kind of a wild card. There zone did them wonders until here.
PS How it Tim Hardaway Jr not like 36?

Wahoo757ParticipantThat was a block

AwardedBallerParticipantTHESE REFEREES ARE TERRRIBLE! THEY BASICALLY JUST COST SYRACUSE THE GAME! WOOOW, TWO TERRIBLE CALLS ON MCW, AND THEN A HORRIBLE CHARGE CALL! I’M DONE!
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/06/2013 - 5:48pm #760768

Sharp ShooterParticipantLMAO some of the Syracuse bloggers… are salty…GO MICHIGAN!
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/06/2013 - 5:50pm #760770

Wavy BagelsParticipantSyracuse had a terrible night offensively. MCW and Triche especially. I was impressed by their defense in the final minutes of the second half. That full court pressure they applied on Michigan most certainly kept them in the game.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/06/2013 - 5:50pm #760760

alingeParticipantWhat a pathetic call, once again the refs give the decision to the school who would be best suited in the final, namely the one with the player of the year and multiple white players.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/06/2013 - 6:15pm #760779

jmarg25ParticipantMan I feel MCW’s pain. Getting fouled out because of a bad call, and feeling helpless in the last minute of his college career.
