JJeff6ParticipantI want some feedback on this:
PG Steve Nash…..duh
SG J-Rich, all around great athlete with great scoring ability
SF Grant Hill, may be old, but still very athletic with long arms and good rebounding abililty
PF Amare Stoudemire, next to Dirk, best PF in the game (when healthy)
C Channing Frye, hes a good 3pt shooter for a big man, but the suns may need inprovements thereOff the bench: Leandro Barbosa is the only one to be counted on,,,,, Earl Clark WILL be good, but just a rookie.
wat do u think, any possible improvements

quincey hodgesthe could get the 7th seed but they need a big over haul if they wanna compete with the big dogs…i think frye is better served as a 6th man or small foward to be honest he has a nice jumper but i too inconistant… this team is in a bad spot..not good enough now or in the future with this team to compete for even a western conference title but not bad enough to get a good pick in the lotto

JNixonParticipantThat’s the expected line-up, yes. But I think they lack depth. No one on their bench is going to scare anyone except Barbosa when he’s on his game. Clark has the potential to, but he’s looked very inexperienced thus far. They won’t be a playoff team.

JJeff6Participantmaybe a low seed at best, but they are also aging, which scares me too

Michael.S.ParticipantAmundson is a really nice role player, he’s like a better on offense Varejao. Also the Suns trainers/system seems to rejuvinate aging legs as seen with Shaq and now Hill.

Michael.S.Participanti didn’t say Shaq has bad legs, but you can’t deny he has aging legs, and he has slowed over the last half-a-decade

quincey hodgeswhy if someone doesnt agree with you they are hating?….just about everyone in the world must be hater because ive yet to find anyone else or read anywhere about the suns being the 4th seed. so they are better then either the lakers, spurs, blazers, utah, denver…did they finih ahead of any of those teams last year by the way?

llperezI have the suns 9th in the west, but it wouldn’t surpriese me too much if they made it. But is there a worse defensive team in the league?

TheAlchemistchanning frye at small forward? that makes absolutely zero sense. he is slow and unathletic. the suns would get burnt (hows that pun workin’ for ya?) if he played there..
nash
richardson/barbosa
hill
frye

td8118ParticipantI think Clark is the epitome of a player who will need a couple of years before he can do anything to contribute…that said when he does he will be very solid and this was a great pick

tonyl33ParticipantThey should start Lopez at the 5, that way the’ll have a bench with Frye coming off the bench being able to play the 4 or 5 position. Lopez is a good rebounder and garbage player. He doesn’t need to touch the ball much which will give more touches for Amare, J rich and Hill. That is enough fire power on offense, they’ll need someone to play some d.

JoeWolf1Yeah, Clark won’t help them much this year, but he is a good pick. I also think Lopez will be a solid rebounder/shot blocker down the line, but he shouldn’t be starting this year. Frye makes sense, he could do well in this system, the Suns just have one of the best 6th men in Barbosa and after that not much of a bench at all. They need to add depth and wait for Clark and Lopez to mature before they can make any impact. If they do make it in a 7th or 8th seed, I would almost count on them being swept.
