BasketballGuru24ParticipantI Honestly don’t want to be rude, but why do some people just post some of the most unrealistic trades….like Lebron getting traded to the heat….or chris paul getting dealt to the celtics & even dwight getting traded. If you haven’t notice these are all franchise players under the age 25…best believe they are not getting traded, so all i am saying is please post trades that are realistic and we can give some real feedback on rather than hate.

NYKnicksuperFanParticipantI second that

gatorheelsParticipantI agree. I like talking about trades but try to be somewhat realistic. No way is Wade, LeBron, Melo, Dwight, Kobe etc… getting traded.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantWhy Would I like that Deal When chris paul is “the future”……so why trade him when he is young ; debatably he is the best point guard in the league so why deal him for a sub par Center and some uncertain players from the future ( in Draft picks)

j1232eParticipantnot trade paul for kobe bryant, I was making a joke about radiculous trades people are trying to create.

Scott42444ParticipantI mean, if you just…here, let me explain:
Cleveland gets: Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, Clippers 2009 1st round (#1)
New Orleans gets: Dwight Howard, Mo Williams, Michael Beasley, Orlando 2010 1st round
Orlando gets: Dwayne Shintzius, Cleveland 2009 1st round
Miami gets: LeBron James, Tyson Chandler, New Orleans 2010 1st round
LA Clippers get: Rashard Lewis, Jameer NelsonEverybody is a winner here, especially the team in Orlando. If Orlando doesn’t win, they are going to blow this squad up. Why would they want Howard anyway? He isn’t the best center in the league, I think that has been established throughout the 2009 playoffs. Orlando could get younger here with an extra draft pick in the 2009 NBA Draft (which is deep enough to get a okay to good player even at the end of the 1st round) and 4 MVP candidates get their wish. They get to make a lateral move that will actually set back their chances of winning a championship in the present but allows them the change of scenery that they are all clamoring for both publicly and privately.

Scott42444ParticipantDwayne Shintzius will provide the experience that Orlando needs to be a contender in the upcoming 2009-2010 NBA season, with Orlando clearing cap space to sign 5 or 6 big name free agents from the 2010 NBA Free Agent draft class. Sorry if the salaries don’t line up too, I don’t like to be burdened with reality.

Mr.Duke 1426ParticipantYou realize that that trade you just proposed would be the largest scale trade in sports history?!?!?! (Not just basketball) And that will never happen.
0- Posted on: Fri, 06/05/2009 - 2:45pm #157183
Scott42444ParticipantYes. I also realize that it is so unbelievable that I was hoping nobody would take me seriously. Dwayne Schintzius obviously would not be traded for Dwight Howard, Jameer Nelson, and Lewis along with draft picks. He was never very good and hasn’t been in the NBA for a very long time. If 4 MVP candidates were traded at the same time, it would probably make the cover of TIME magazine. I completely agree with the whole topic of this thread, I was being extremely sarcastic. I also feel that people like to make up these insane trades because they are bored, plus most of them are just simply outrageous.
That being said, I am going to start a new forum post talking about how these trades COULD be a possibility. There, I said it. I know that it sounds ridiculous, but there has never been a situation like this. One of the best free agents of all time, LeBron James, will be on the market in 2010. Along with other potential hall of fame players.
Well, just look at my new topic. I was against writing one because I don’t necessarily want to start a trade proposal explosion, but it needs to be said.

Lemons4LifeParticipantScott’s trade is unbelievable……….how doesn’t someone at least enjoy the excitement of a possible mix up of players in the NBA?

shipargosParticipantI agree with Scott, Orlando will be the real winner, with Dwayne Shintzius, Specially if Healthy.
He can led the team to victory, Dwight Howard is an super undersized center and must be traded for someone better.0 - Posted on: Fri, 06/05/2009 - 2:54pm #157188
Mr.Duke 1426Participantsorry I completely misunderstood you post. I can never tell when someone is being sarcastic because so many people believe what they are saying is possible.
0- Posted on: Fri, 06/05/2009 - 3:45pm #157207
Scott42444ParticipantNo worries. I know what you mean and I haven’t learned how to express sarcasm through my posts yet. Maybe I should have picked someone besides Dwayne Schintzious.
