UNCbasketballbumParticipantIs ready for his return to St. John’s after his bout with prostate cancer. Lavin did a great job with the Red Storm during the 10-11 season bringing them back to national prominence including a huge win over defending champion Duke at MSG. He coached 4 games last season before having to leave the reigns to Mike Dunlap. The Red Storm regularly started 5 freshman including 2012 first round pick Moe Harkless including a respectable 13-19 record and 6-12 in the Big East. Lavin is a really good coach and I’m glad to see him back healthy and ready to lead St. John’s again. Good luck to him.

SiggyParticipantHe’s a better recruiter than he is an actual x’s and o’s coach.
He did a good job recruiting again, but he’s recruiting the same type of player. Players who are long and athletic, but not much skill and in particular, can’t shoot a lick.
