SubZeroParticipantHas anyone heard Steve Kerr complain as much as he just did? He claimed that half of Steph’s fouls were “ticky tack” fouls and said he was glad he threw his mouthpiece because he didn’t get the respect a back to back MVP should get
I don’t care what team you’re a fan of, every single foul called on him was a foul. The last one was a little head scratching, but he shouldn’t have put the ref in that situation just expecting to not get a call because of who he is. I don’t see how you can argue against any of the first 5 calls that went against him unless you’re a conspiracy theorist or a Warriors fan. It seems that people just can’t believe Steph was treated like a human being and don’t know how to deal with it.
I never thought I’d see Kerr complain as much as he just did, but part of me thinks he’s taking a fine to put pressure on the refs to call it in his favor next game. It’s a tactic coaches have done in the past, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what he was doing here.
Also, any input on the game is welcome

Reptilian MonkParticipantLots of complaining from the Warriors from Steve Kerr, to Ayesha Curry saying the Nba is rigged to Steph throwing his mouthpiece, Draymond groin kicking and punching. They are coming across as spolied and lots of drama they could be a Kardashian show.

top prospectParticipantStop wood surfing LBJ. Kerr and Ayesha have opinions just like you. Name the last league and finals MVP to foul out of a playoff game……. Steph throwing his mouthpiece was irrelevent he had already fouled out. Draymond groin punching… really. Inadvertent contact. Stepping over Draymond was poor sportmanship.

dremill24ParticipantThe last 2 fouls were terrible calls whether he’s the MVP or me. But he definitely needs to stop reaching when he already has 1 foul in the 1st, 2 in the 2nd, etc…hes done it a lot lately.

SubZeroParticipantDid you not see him mugging Kyrie for at least 3 dribbles? He was wrapped around him the whole time. I agree he got the ball clean with his hand, but everything else was a foul.

benny15Participantyeah i saw it, i also saw it being done on the other end on steph and no call were being made. as a warrior fan though, i can honestly say that theres not really much to complain about because this happens almost always in the play-offs, especially in the conference finals and the finals.
this kinf of officiating was happening in games 1 and 2 and the warriors benefitted by being able to be more physical. its not even the total count in that you see in the box score, but the timing of when the calls are made. it assists or halts progress and runs, it helps sway the momentum of the game to one team or the other in certain stretches. and its nothing new.
if it really bothers anyone so much and feel that the integrity of the game is being tarnished, then stop watching the NBA. this kind of stuff has been happening long past this series and i do believe will continue to do so in the foreseable future. as a fan, all you can hope for is that your team can still pull out the W even when the calls arent going your way.

SubZeroParticipantWell Steph got the same call with less contact at least 2-3 times this game on JR and Shump so I disagree with you there, but everything else is well said

SubZeroParticipantI think I’ve been pretty clear with my hate for Golden State, but don’t get it twisted. I’m not a Cleveland fan in the slightest, I’ve been an OKC fan since the beginning. I couldn’t care less if you think I’m biased because I call it how I see, and what I saw was Steph fouling and reaching all game because he can’t guard Kyrie on ball, I saw Steph get those same calls called on Cleveland on much less contact multiple times, and I saw a game where both teams were called for the same amount of fouls. Yet because it’s Steph and Golden State, it’s rigged? Just because people just can’t fathom the fact that they might’ve just got beaten? Come on

daggers818ParticipantThis just landed from Assoicated Press…
Curry’s wife, Ayesha, also was unhappy, tweeting: "I’ve lost all respect sorry this is absolutely rigged for money… Or ratings in not sure which. I won’t be silent . Just saw it live sry."
She later deleted the tweet.
I guess Curry and the the GSW family are showing true colors in the face of adversity. Makes them feel like front runners. Not a great reaction from the 2-time MVP and current face of the NBA. Now his wife questions the integrity of the game. Turn about is fair play. Who’s the baby now? Silver must be boiling. LBJ must be smiling.

Hype MachineIt was a hostile game…the refs would have felt a lot of pressure. They made some bad calls…they always do. It wasn’t worse for one team than the other. Curry made a lot of stupid decisions out there today that he didn’t really need to make.
He’s lucky the NBA actually is rigged….because thats the only thing saving him from a suspension. Amir Johnson threw his mouthguard on the ground a few years ago in a much less dramatic fashion, and got 1 game.
But….now the Cavs have to face the insanity in Golden State, and those fans are going to be out of their minds!

SubZeroParticipantLebron is playing incredible defense without fouling; Steph is not. Find one of Lebron’s blocks that should’ve been a foul, then get back to me.
And don’t even try saying I’m just riding Lebron, he was my least favorite player for at least a decade. I’ve just finally come around to appreciate greatness

goodsense3ParticipantHalf of fouls called on Curry was completely bogus. Never seen a finals gm officiated so horribly especially towards a mvp type player. Bron played great though but I feel like this gm 7 was forced by nba. Warriors are lucky to be playing for a title at home though after being down 3-1 to okc.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantI actually thought curry was sort of lucky he didn’t foul out sooner. There were a couple of plays where he clearly reached and made contact prior to his 6th foul but the refs ignored it because of who he is. In the second quarter he clearly was the one who fouled love on a post up but they gave it to Livingston instead. His last foul was just really dumb, trying to go for a steal in the backcourt he had absolutely no chance of getting. He was basically just daring the refs to throw him out at that point. Not a very smart game at all.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantWho profits?
The NBA is certainly rigged, look at the money they’ll make from a Game 7
The prices of those tickets coupled with the extra advertising money alone makes all this well worth it…
We get blinded by the bread and circus, a hopefully amazing game between 2 of the best teams in league, the League may allow it to be won cleanly by Cleveland or Golden State, but I assume theyd much rather have Lebron win it all for the Cursed Cavs, making an exit to a Bigger market all the more easier…
Think about it people, the NBA is no better than the WWE, who didnt see this coming when the Warriors went up 3-1,add up the extra revenue from these 3 games plus an inevitable Cavs comeback Championship…Qui Bono?

IndianaBasketballParticipantSteve Kerr learned from the great Phil Jackson, who complained to the media all of the time. Tyrone Lue complained two games ago about LeBron not getting fouls. Complaining is apart of the game and it’s effective too. Now watch how many fouls CLE gets next game for holding/grabbing Steph and Klay that they were allowed to get away with in CLE.
I do think 2-3 of Steph’s fouls were pretty weak, but he’s committed dumb fouls a lot this series. That last foul was a gut punch because there was 4 mins left in the game and it basically eliminated any run GSW could make. I thought Klay got similar contact on one of his shots that Jones got on his and one, but Klay wasn’t given the call. My biggest issue is the refs are allowing a lot of contact on Steph/Klay without the ball and on their jump shots. I laughed at the over the back call on Green lol. I think it was the right call, but Thompson gets away with that 90% of the time lol.
I won’t say the NBA is rigged, but I definitely think the refs influence games. And I still believe Green’s game 5 suspension was bs and completely changed this series. Now Bogut is out and Iguodala has a bad back. I think GSW may be in trouble.

TyroberParticipantWhen you have 5 fouls you have to be careful and Curry wasn’t. Maybe it was a foul and maybe it wasn’t but you don’t try to make plays and put yourself in a situation like that when you have 5 fouls and on the court to shoot the ball instead of trying to get steals.

D7H7NParticipantThe 6th foul on Curry was probably the only bad one. GSW wasn’t planning on giving up even though they were down by double digits. Refs kinda killed any chance they had left.
