I have seen quite a few people posting about their inability to get online for 2k12.  Let me start off by saying that I do have an Xbox 360, but I assume it is the same for PS3.

When you first start up the game it ask you to set up a 2K profile along with including your email address.  This was implimented to avoid the people who cheat and create multiple accounts to get wins and boost their online ranking.

Once you set up the account check your email (it may be in spam) and click on the link to activate your 2k account. 

After you activate your account you will be good to go with online play.  Hope this helps!

 I just went on my email and when I clicked on the link it said invalid. I think it timed out or something that’s why it’s invalid. How do I get them to send me another email so that I can click on it?

Did you send it to the same email that your gamertag is linked with?  You have to make sure that they are one in the same.

 Yea, they are the same. I made the 2k account yesterday when I got the game and did not know I had to go to my email to activate it. I went to my email today and I got the email they sent me and clicked on the link and it said it was invalid because it timed out. I guess you have to activate it in quicker then a days time idk.

Sorry i didnt want to create another 2k thread but anyone know how to make the legend teams available for a quick game. It says to play the each of the 15 games to unlock the teams but I dont want to do all that right now. Any way to the with a code or something?? I actually mainly want to start a assoc with all the legends included..
